Johnny's fine. It's because he intervened that Eito were able to debut. It's Julie and Mary who suck. :)

Julie and Mary are Johnny's nieces. They're the current MDs of JE, though Johnny is still the CEO, he has officially stepped down in 2002 I think. Rumor has it that he stepped in whenever Eito are involved or something.

Previously, there is 8 members in K8, one of them is Uchi Hiroki. Thats why they called Kanjani 8.

I can't answer the question very detail, why they called Kanjani 8. Wd will answer you on this. Actually, I also want to ask the same question to WD, how they got the name of Kanjani 8? They have Johnny's name ne~~different with other group in JE!

I remember this question when I watched Domoto Kyoudai, Koichi ask them the same question "How they got Johhny's name?" but before Yoko-chan can answer it directly, Tsuyo disturb him with some funny statement. and I can't got the answer until the end :banghead:

Not exactly. Yes, there were 8 people in Kanjani8, plus Uchi. But the real reason why they have the name Kanjani attached is still not clear to me. Yoko kinda answered that in his SCP interview in 2006 though, he said that it's easy to remember because Kansai Johnny's boys are always called Kanjani, and when Kansai TV which is on Channel 8 in Kansai wanted a permanent group for the TV show J3Cube Kansai in 2002, they added the 8th member to it and so Ohkura officially joined and became a part of Kanjani8 in December 2002.

FYI, 8 doesn't always mean 8 people. 8 in the name 'Kanjani8' is actually an 'infinity' symbol aka 'mugendai', not the number '8'.

Yeah, it's one of the songs in their triple-A side single in 2005, Sukiyanen, Osaka/Oh! ENKA/Mugendai. It's a friendship song, and very reflective of their journey to stardom so far. I've also posted the lyrics a couple of pages back. :)
