You know, it's kind of embarassing how many dramas I have/will have once I transfer those VHS tapes to DVD. But I recorded them in EP so the quality is less than desirable. But they will be watchable.

Yep, it's better than nothing... There's a buncha Sonny Chiba samurai dramas stuff that I wish I hadn't taped over... :(

Imageshack looks pretty good, but it looks like you can only upload one pic at a time, which is a little tedious....

You know, I found some DVDs of Sonny Chiba at the dollar stores. I should get them the next time I go there. I think there's even one with Sanada Hiroyuki.

yeah, that is the bad thing about imageshack, uploading one at a time, plus i am on dial up, takes awhile to upload, say 10 pix one at a time, other than that, it is free and so far i have bout' 300 pix and counting.

could take me a while, with the nana stuff i can find via google.co.jp/yahoo, but i do hope i find a lot, so far so good.

Yep, Chiba was in Kill Bill as Hattori Hanzo, which is a name Tarantino probably took from Chiba's 1980's series Shadow Warriors I-III. Chiba played a leader of a group of Iga ninjas named Hattori Hanzo... :)

yeah, heard he is a classic legend in those types of films, haven't seen any though.

I've got some episodes here and there if you're interested. They're incomplete unfortunately, but each episode can stand on its own, and there's some good action sequences... Better than most of the stuff from the NHK Taiga dramas...

thanks anyways, i am not really into those kind of films. Although kill bill wasn bad. I use to be into lucy liu a little, not much anymore. I still think she is cute though. The fighting was good in kill bill, and chiaki was amazing too, hot school girl with that ball and chain weapon.

Q, notice the slight jagginess in the pic? That's from the scaling down function that's been imposed here... Scaling it down using something like Photoshop and reposting would give you a better pic, I think... :D

yeah noticed how the quality is reduced here, i post a nice pix and the quality and size are reduced, which i can see why, but never gave photoshop a thought, but thanks anyways. Not sure if i have it, and never bother to use it. Sometimes I get lucky and post a good quality pix on here. btw: how is imageshack.us?? is it working for you well?
