I thought he was by far the strongest of the Japanese programs with artistic merit as well. :victory:

Im happy I managed to get to see all of it.

Watching the Men's Cross COuntry just now. THe JApanese competitor in th elast race gave everyone a run for their mo.ey before runningout of steam at the end. He finished 4th.
Really enjoying how many sports are being fully covered by NBC. :applaud:

Yeah, I just laugh it off now because the people who are complaining aren't even in Vancouver. I do agree about the fence around the cauldron though, it was a dumb idea from the start and I'm glad they fixed it late last night.

I mean, shit happens. Ice machines can break and Mother Nature has her way sometimes, that's the way the cookie crumbles. Either way, the IOC has to be impressed with the packed crowds and the atmosphere in Vancouver, they've been loud and energetic so far!

Team Japan put up a fight against the Canadians in Curling and nearly came away with the upset earlier today. Both teams made mistakes throughout the match but Canada came up with the big shots when it mattered. Was pulling for Meguro at the end, and hopefully her team rebounds and makes it to the medal round :victory:

Switching between Speed Skating and Men's Hockey. The German sweaters remind me of the Vancouver Canucks of the late 80's/early 90's :victory:

Short Track is back on tonight too, huzzah!

Why do I have this sinking feeling that they're going to show the women's downhill at the very end of the Olympics broadcast? :grumble:
18 Feb 2010, 13:42 #1215
Man, the women are taking a beating on the downhill: three have already crashed, one of them right out of the starting gate.

EDIT: Lindsey Vonn has the lead...!!! :woot:
