I just saw the making of it, and I didn't like it too much, because it was mostly just a filler...
I still liked Uchi playing Saburo, but Junnosuke is cute, but still smiles too much..he looks more like one of those guys who tries to act cool, rather than is cool...^-^;
I'm mostly enjoying Nishikido's amazing performance, even though the story is quite predictable...but he plays his character SO well!

Now that the series is over, what did you think of it? I thought it was really enjoyable with a very touching ending. =) Especially Sekino's small confession to Suzuki Anne's character. :applaud:

I really like the series, I think Im gonna watch it again soon. Anne was great in her role, and Ryo-chan is soo kakkoii! Too bad there was that Uchi incident... he was just perfect for Nakata Saburo's role. Though Junno was pretty good too. But he wasnt the ice king he was supposed to be. The plot was really nice, a little unexpected. I mean Etsukos injury and all.

ehhhh I didn't really like the ending...it was a little vague....
You already knows he likes her, and she would pretty much know he has feeling for her, seeing as how he takes care of her, but it's not entirely the kind of ending I wanted for the two characters, I like him giving her his number and stuff, but I wish there was something more....

The Saburo is only a minor character..so we didn't manage to see much of Junno's act. But I really like the part where he and Sekino(Ryo) had a little quarrel. It shows his acting skill. Overall, I think Junno did good for his first drama.
I hope there was more to the ending part though. not where they went to but more of their relationships.

yeah..well actually I think Saburo was supposed to be a supporting character because the thing that made teh story change when Jun came in, was that the two other female team mates, weren't fighting over him...

Yes, I found that pretty odd. They just completely forgot about him. :crazy: Anyway, I agree - the ending was a bit vague, I guess the whole thing about relationships would be that we would decide what would happen to them and who would end up with whom. Sigh. I kind of wanted the story to have some more love triangle-like stuff - ie. Saburo ending up liking Etsuko, etc etc. Oh well.

Yeah I expected the Triangle too, but it's more of a square or something because you have:

Two girls liking --> Saburo who likes --> Etsuko <-- Buu Liking <--Etsuko's friend liking

And Etsuko would be the center, but I guess undecided....

i read soem good review on it and deicded to watch it but trying to dl via bt now is hard since this drama is kinda oldish to try to download via bt now...the dling is going to so slow...so if anyone have this drama can they probably upload any of hte episodes or know anywhere that have MU links, ysi, etc...

Ganbatte Ikimasshoi is a great drama. I like it a tad bit better than Hana Yori Dango but this is just the second drama I ever watched. I am up to ep 3 now, about to hit ep 4(all thanks to youtube)

One thing is for certain, Fujimoto Shizuka is a pretty good actress. It must be hard for her to play as a character who isn really *accepted* by the other kids in the highschool and is not physically attractive like the other girls. (she plays as Nakamura Mayumi)Imocchi

Suzuki Anne is a great actress! I like her character Estuko alot! I gotta see her in other dramas as well! I think she is better than that chick from Hana Yori Dango.

I wished there would be more about the love...but still it is a good drama.
At first I didn't like the main actress, but after some episode..kinda enjoyed^^

I liked it. Not the best, bot not bad either. One positive thing about it is the ending. Normally a dorama like this would end in them winning the best thing, so the ending was very unexpected and good ^o^. I like Ryo in it and I started liking Taguchi because of it. XD (Firstly I just wanted to watch it because my uncle was cameraman o,o)
