skavinvad wrote:Ah, was going to upload the piano version of Konayuki for you but azzwipe beat me to it XD

Randomly though, does anyone have a translation of the song 3/9? :D

Here's what I was able to find:

In the midst of the flowing season,
I feel how long the day is.
In the midst of busy days,
You and I paint our dreams.

Thinking in the breath of March's wind,
Even the blossom of the cherry tree hangs around until the spring.

Little by little the overflowing grains of light
warm the chill morning.
After a wide yawn,
I'll be by your side even when you're embarrassed.

Standing at the entrance of a new world,
I realized that I wasn't alone.

If you close your eyes,
It's all written there in your eyelids.
That helped me become stronger, didn't it?
I too want to become strong enough for you.

The whirlwind carrying a lot of dust
Hits the clothes, but
The empty white morning moon's
Beauty somehow charmed me.

However, this isn't always true...
And there are times when I can't look up to see the heavens.

In the cold and clear blue sky,
the bird's feathers shake gently.
The flowers bloom with joy,
And are happy if they can share that feeling.

Make sure to smile in the future that awaits.

If you close your eyes,
It's all written there in your eyelids.
That helped me become stronger, didn't it?
I too want to become strong enough for you.

... and no problem saya317, glad I could help.

Thank you so much, azzwipe! But really... the songs in this series are so perfect 8D

I just finished episode 6. Ako, I didn't really like you before but now, omg you are so awesome <3

If this series gets any sadder, I don't think I'll be able to go on, lol. I feel a headache coming up from all this crying XD

... though, I guess I could be masochistic and re-watch the series from beginning to end after I finish downloading it. Anyone with me? 8D

Ok, I'm back with another request. Sorry. But not only am I in love with this show, I'm in love with the music. If anybody can upload the OST, I would really appreciate it! And then I can shed more tears when listening to it. :mecry: I can't cry when I watch it; only when I think of it will I cry. GAWD! Tears just wouldn't stop coming the day after I finished it. This is the reason why I don't like watching these kinds of show. Yet I love 1 Liter of Tears!

I don't know if this is too much trouble for you, but here ist the ost:

http://japanentertainmentdownloads.blogspot.com/2005/12/ichi-ritoru-no-namida-20051202-music.html

The catch is that you'll have to download the tracks individually from megaupload instead of in a conviniently zipped package. If it's too much trouble then let me know and I'll upload the ost for you tomorrow, but I really have to get to bed now as it's 4:30am here

Funny username!

Anyway, thanks a lot for giving us the link to the OST. I finished the drama a couple of weeks ago, and I sure am missing it now. Hearing the soundtrack reminds me of the show and how touching and inspirational it was. I really should watch the series a second time...

The soundtrack itself is a gem on its own... :)

yeah, i agree the two j-dramas characters had different overall emotions, and both were good, but sekachu was more depressing.

yeah. sekai was depressing...but i cried so much more in 1L of tears.
i guess it's the overall message sent out to the viewer. 1L of tears encourages while sekai is more bitter...

I recently found about this site called Idols Unlimited. It's an AWESOME site, I suggest you all bookmark!

Their latest entire drama to upload to Megaupload is 1 litre of tears!

http://www.idols-unlimited.com/a-dairy-with-tears

The entire ost can even be found there.

Anyway, just thought that this might be of some use for some people out there
