lynn minmei - I think I speak for my fellow super JE fangirls (or at least a select few) in this thread when I say that for us, it's not about which channel gets it...it's about the fact that a LOCAL channel will be dubbing and showing this in the Phils. and consequently, exposing our dear boys (in this case, Pi, Kame, Nagase, Tego..uhm, isasali ko ba si Koki dito? hehe, peace!) to local audiences. Keh IBC13 pa yan or NET25, eh hindi kami matutuwa. Wagamama na kung wagamama. It may not sound rational to others but the fact is, we don't wanna share them. Period. Sensya na po if others would have a different opinion, pero nagpapakatotoo lang po

I feel the same khit hndi ko matapos tapos ung NWP. And it kind of disappoints me the way they pick the voice actors, parang di pinag-isipan! Voice quality pa naman ang isa s mga elements na nagcocontribute sa mga bishies n 2... hehehe :victory:

Speaking of Yamapi, dati nung naghahanap ako ng "Daite Señorita" na mp3 file, I came across a site tpos meron nga. Pag-dl ko, "odango" ung lumabas na artist. I ignored it and burned it to a CD. Leter that night when I was listening to the CD, grabe nagulat ako akala ko minumulto ung player namin!

If you have time baka gusto niyong pakinggan :mrgreen: it's the worst cover of Daite Señorita I've heard (mas maganda pa ung version ng ate ko when she sings in the shower)!! :sweat:

as biteme and the others have said, it's not bec of which channel will get it. it's the fact that they will be shown here in the country, and most probably will become overexposed or exploited, esp if the dorama gets famous. plus i just can't imagine my beloved kame and other bishies having dubbed voices. siguro kung sa treatment lang din of the stars, i'd go with gma. pero in totality, ayoko pa rin. selfish na kung selfish. i don't really care. i guess it's inevitable to feel this way, esp when you've been a fan for years and have practically seen them grow. i don't want them to be just fads. i'd rather they remain unknowns here in the country than see them na malaos.

i think kuryente lang yung nobuta at mbmh nabili ng abs. as far as i know di mabenta jdramas sa pinas. siguro yung mga super mainstream jdos lang gaya ng hyd. at siguro kaya kinuha ang gto dahil gokusen-esque ito (kahit na nauna 'to) at nagwork ang gokusen. masyado ngang weird ang nwp for the mainstream audience. wiz na i-share si yamapi sa iba.

hmmn.. feeling ko nga din di naman masyadong into the taste of filipinos ang jdo. i guess it's an acquired taste. add to the fact na medyo di naman striking sa kagwapuhan sila. hehe. i mean, they're really goodlooking, but you have to get used to them first before you can actually say so. bihira lang yung at first glance, talagang gwapo. and we all know how appearance-based the adulation of filipinos to stars are. at saka oo nga, medyo weird kasi ang plots ng jdos.add to the fact na ang first impression natin sa japanese is that they are violent people, so may bias agad.

I had my ofism8 watch "Pride" dis wk...ang unang reaxn nia, eh di naman daw guapo si Takuya, pero by mga 4 eps or sumthing...in love na cia keh Kimu...kumbaga, they grow on you. Kasi naikuwento xa sakin ng mga Krean students k0 and its very popular in Korea daw... kinwento nila skn ung story and i kinda like it... san ko kya pwede makahanap ng dvd or vcd non? i think di xa pinalabas d2 sa pinas eh... ryt? curious lng me kc sa pagka2kwento nila, mukhang mgnda ung story... lam u b un? :crazy: :bonk:

You can download the manga from http://mangadownload.com for free. Hobbypoint, CSCNTRL, and alike stores have the Death Note anime series and the movie. 2Rats though only has the live-action movie.

If you're talking about the second movie, I don't think it's out here yet.

i love lovelove death note!!! matagal ko nang nabasa yung manga. in fact, may plano akong ulitin siyang basahin pag wala na akong ginagawa. madami na kasi akong nakalimutan. it's really good, isn't it? i just love the plot and all the characters, esp L. too bad.. if you know what i mean.. i also watched the first movie already. ok lang naman. natuwa ako kasi di naman siya kalayuan ng story from the manga, although may mga binago pa rin, as is usual for live actions. at gusto ko kasi yung mga actors. :)
although i haven't watched the anime. i'm waiting for it to finish. i don't know if it's true, pero i heard it was gonna be up to 36 epis or something. so aantayin ko munang mabuo bago kunin. tutal masaya na ako sa manga.
