about the fan exploitation eh matagal na ko nagrereklamo (see beginning pages of this thread) pero ano pa ba ang magagawa? interesado akong malaman kung sino ang magdudub sa tagalog. At saka, pano idedeliver yung mga lines na inclined more sa japanese culture at di sa pinoy.

After dating a Filipina (from Manila) for 3 years and having numerous Filipino-American friends, one thing that suddenly struck me:

Do not recall a single cultural holiday festival :confused:

The only holidays observed were Catholic holidays. What are some Filipino cultural holidays?

there's a lot of cultural festivities here in phils and you've just missed it! well anyways there's a lot more coming this summer... check this link for more updates http://www.tourism.gov.ph/

That is to say, I've never seen the Filipino community in the SF Bay area have a cultural fair of any sort, as opposed to in Manila.

Odd, because there is a huge Filipino population in the Bay Area, especially in Daly City, Colma, and South San Francisco.
