sorry po sa fangirls, I don't mean to offend you guys. It's just that for a guy it feels really weird and uncomfortable seeing two persons of the male gender kissing. Ganun din ba feeling nyo pag nakakita kayo ng girl to girl? I guess it's the same feeling guys sometimes feel na they get turned on pag nakakita sila ng two hot girls making out. to answer ur question..in my opinion lang ha....im a girl so pag may makita akong 2 girls kissing ok lng, parang normal lng...but i cant stand to see 2 men kissing. i feel weird...no offense.... :sweat:

ukitake doesn't have a wife. i think you are talking about miyako, who is shiba kaien's wife. pero tama. in the anime, napossess si miyako by a hollow, which later killed her. and so, kaien goes out looking for that hollow, along with ukitake and rukia.

he has a disease. haha. in the manga, it says that he has tuberculosis and his hair turned white after a couple of days of discovering the illness. that's why he's sickly since the attacks of tb are unpredictable.

Don't worry, none taken :victory: But here's my take on the whole yaoi thing...like you said, for guys, seeing two girls kiss is a huge turn on, and it's almsot always in a very sexual context. But for yaoi fangirls, it's not really about sexual arousal, it's more of "kyaaah!" y'know? like, kilig lang. And it can't be two MEN either...they've got to be BOYS...cute, pretty boys. Becus if it's between two, adult men...it's kinda frightening...i dunno if my comments are being homophobic or anything, so I apologize if they are. Kinda like Brokeback Mountain, Heath Ledger and Jake Gylenhall may be good looking men, but seeing them kiss and have sex...the images were very strong and forceful. With yaoi, it's all just about being sweet and cute with just hints of naughtiness (well, that's the type of yaoi that appeals to me anyway....) Cus I tried watching Gravitation and Loveless...and after about a few eps, mejo i lost interest na rin...

Anyway, i think i read on wikipedia before that yaoi is popular becus it presents a very romantic ideal to females, having two very good looking guys for fall each other without the viewer feeling any jealousy as they would if those male leads were to fall for a female character, as with normal plotlines.

But like I said earlier, it's gotta be boys. If two, adult male rockers like....Jonathan Davis and Fred Durst kissed each other, that'd be like "Ewww!"

As for the aforementioned Jrockers and Kpop boys doing yaoi stuff, it's basically just fanservice. I doubt if anyone of them are actually gay. Which is kinda kewl, cus kaya nilang maglandian for the fans and still remain straight :hehe:

It's between the age of 18-28. Most Korean males enlist in the army after high school or after college...but SeungHoon, like most actors, probably thought that it wouldn't be wise move to leave showbiz back when he was younger, right when he was just starting to make a name for himself. So they usually put it off until they've already established themsleves..so that's when they're in their late 20s na....

pero with Song SeungHoon's case, he actually tried to dodge the draft by faking his medical certificate para makalusot cia sa military service. Pero since very strict ang Korean government jan, they eventually discovered that it was fake and tracked him down pa sa HongKong (where he was then shooting a movie with Vanness Wu), dragged him back to Korea and threw his ass sa barracks. It was very controversial and actually very traumatic din kay SeungHoon kc ni hindiman lang cia nakapagpaalam ng maayos sa friends and family nia bago mag-army, tpos sumama pa yung tingin ng Koreans sa kanya kc parang ang duwag at unpatriotic ng dating nia. But he proved otherwise naman, kc kinareer nia tlg yung stint nia sa military at napromote ba nga ata cia sa Sargeant or sumthing....

Thanks for shedding light on the "yaoi" thing biteme, now I have a somewhat different perspective on that issue. :victory: so it's unanimous though that seeing "adult" (as you've mentioned) guys making out.... really gross out most of us (pinoys) noh? actually medyo homophobic kasi ako eh. Para kasing iba nga ang dating. :bleh: don't get me wrong though, I'm only talking about visual and cinematic images I really don't care what those people do with their private lives as long as they don't hurt or affect somebody in a bad way.

I agree :victory: I don't like men love either. Just boy love. But maybe ur talking about shounen-ai biteme-san? Because yaoi is like the hard gay type (with the sexual intercourse and all ^^), and shounen-ai is all raburabu with matching snuggling and it's all so sweet and KYAAAA~!
