i was disappointed with it. may mga lull sa gitna. at ... sayang. ang daming scenes na pwede sanang maisama pero ang haba na ng movie. at sayang hindi nabigyan ng opportunity to shine si ron (sa quidditch diba). but i guess di mo rin masisisi kasi sobrang haba nung book at napakalawak ng scope na hindi na kayang isiksik sa 3- hour movie lahat. di nga masyadong na establish yung ibang mga bagay, or kulang pa, tulad nung pagkamatay ni sirius. i was preparing myself to cry (i cried when i read it) kasi ang ganda nung scene na yun sa isip ko tapos...ganun lang yun? parang...wala lang. patay na siya. wala ako reaction, at mababa na ang luha ko sa lagay na 'to.

the thing with book adaptations is that the books are always better than the movie.

so far, the best pa rin for me yung 3rd movie. i hope they get alfonso cuaron again to direct the 6th movie.

at ang laki na ni Daniel Radcliffe, OA. sana madaliin nilang gawin yung movie kasi mukha na siyang bente anyos.

Same here. First time ko pong nakapanood ng drama na 2 (or was that one?) week duration lang. Ibang klase, kulang nalang wag nilang ipalabas sa sobrang dami ng cut scenes eh.

hmm... pano ba ako mag-rereact... ok, as a HARRY POTTER fan who worshipped the book (esp. book 5 :naughty: ): the movie is... "so-so"...
it didn't exceed or meet my expectations (in terms of plot, cinematography and script...) BUT, the sfx was AMAZING! I love it. I think that's the only thing that GETS better and better in the movies-- the special effects and all those movie magic stuff. :good: :applaud:
I'm NOT really disappointed (SURPRISINGLY! :shocked: ) But I'm not satisfied either.... mainly coz...

my FAVE part-- the scene I was REALLY looking forward to ever since I read the book 3 years ago-- was only shown for like, 10 freakin secs!!! NANDAYO!!! :banghead: You know, that scene where Harry penetrates Snape's mind and saw his worst memory which is: James & Sirius bullying him back in their 5th year at Hogwarts by hanging him upside down... :grumble: It was so damn fast! And to think I've been waiting for that scene the moment the movie started! :shakehead: My bf, who never read the book didn't even understand what the heck that was about coz super bilis nga nya pinakita... Badtrip. Hmph.
Aside from that, I just don't like the fact that the story was so fast-paced that you'd be so confused why one minute they were doing this in this place and the next minute they were in a completely diff. setting talking about something else... I'm saying this for those who haven't read the book u know... :shakehead: I had to entertain my bf's endless queries afterwards coz she didn't understand some parts which has obvious cuts.

and we share the same opinion about Sirius...

The moment Harry's group stumbled inside that room with that wretched "veil"... I was already holding up a hand to my mouth while slapping my bf's arm with the other hand, mumbling "OMG... OMG... this is it... he's gonna die na..." :puppydog: But when I heard Bellatrix scream, "avada kedavra!" I was like :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: Coz in the book, as u know, the spell which "killed" Sirius was not stated but it was presumed as a simple "stunning" spell (coz the light from her wand was red!) but in the movie it's like they finally established the fact that Sirius is INDEED dead and he's NEVER g0nna come back... :shamefulcry: coz u know, up to now, there are still rumors and speculations among fans that Sirius is still alive and he's coming back in book 7... But his death wasn't even given much TIME! It wasn't justified! No mourning Harry... No Harry blaming himself and sulking around... :grumble: It appeared like Sirius wasn't of IMPORTANCE to him! :puppydog: So I never even got teary eyed when he died... unlike when I read the book-- I cried my heart out... :sweat:

Voldy possessed Harry and he was trying to fight him off... warding him away from his mind and body... when he was writhing and screaming on the floor while he sees flashbacks of his past, the peeps he loves including Sirius and his parents... :puppydog: It was just so emotional... I got teary eyed but wiped it away hastily... kasi kakahiya umiyak dun... cutie nung nasa likod ko eh... T.O... :hehe: :mrgreen:

was UNBELIEVABLY LONG! :mrgreen: Longer than i expected... gulat nga me eh... kaya pla sabi ni Dan sa interviews eh it took 30 (THIRTY!!! :shocked: ) takes for he and Katie (Cho) to perfect it... pero pabor daw sa kanya yun... :hehe: bad Dan! :mrgreen: pero kakakilig yun... kaso yung bf ko super GALIT kay Cho eh... selos kasi sya... gsto nya patayin sa asar eh... at wawa naman si Cho! Imbes na si Marietta eh sya yung ginawang "traitor"! dapat si Marietta yun eh, hindi sya... :shakehead:

ayun... speaking as a "third" person (meaning-- hindi harry potter fan/ hindi nabasa yung book... :sweat: )

ok naman po yung movie. of course there were some confusing parts, if u haven't read the book... but they try to explain it naman... i can say the "magic" is still there... di sya boring or "not worth it" to watch... :say_yes: and fast-paced lng tlga sya to the point na mawiwindang ka sa mga pangyayari... some scenes were not clear at di msyado na-established... But I like how they tried to keep the "humor" in it although it's supposed to be "dark" (with Voldy alive and all that...)

Oh! and I SOOOOO LOVE the girl who played LUNA LOVEGOOD!!! She's so damn FUNNY and amazing! She was indeed BORN to be LUNA! :victory:

so... yo-kun! i think u should see it for yourself... di ko ma-explain eh... pero I'm not "disappointed" at all, which is saying something (in my case... :hehe: ) i'm just a lil... sad about something...
