Hello everybody. Sobrang tagal na uli akong nagpost dito. I think it has been a year... Well new generation na to at naka 400 plus post na hehehee Yup evil_zai I still remember you.

Anyways, inde si Gerald ang patner ng Chinitang Chui kundi si Sam Milby raw si magiging Gong Chan.

About the Hana Kimi's, the Japanese when they adapt manga into live action drama they change things 99% of the time so to accommodate the story to fit around 11 eps or so plus one special if its really popular. Changes are there but no major overhaul with the premise of the series. The Taiwanese on the other hand, would take the manga and photocopy it. The changes are only a matter of execution.
A spoiler for the hanakimi taiwan version:
The manga had a cross dressing cafe idea for their cultural festival. They weren't able to do that in the Taiwan version so what they did was a costume cafe of sorts with Ella looking a whole lot of horrible than usual. The only guy that crossed dressed was the funny guy from Farenheit/Nakatsu's char. Personally speaking if you wanted to know the story look at the taiwanese version. If you are more on the technical side like cinematography, soundtrack and acting, go for the Japanese version though most of the jokes are puns, slapstick and would not translate well into Filipino. BUT IMHO, the taiwanese suck at execution, they would take a wonderful idea but make it horrid. If you guys really want to know the story just go to Fully Booked and buy the manga translated there. I think its around 500 a chapter and you have around 24 or so chapters plus the one with the alternate ending.

The HanaKimi Taiwan was not finished yet. They werent able to use up all the material from the manga and decided to stop for another season. Then news of ISWAK 2 came and corporate money makers saw this opportunity to make some money. They deliberately pitted off the two high rating dramas. The second season of sorts which I think is still airing in Taiwan. IMHO, The hanakimi season 2 is really a drama that they placed against ISWAK 2. Those two dramas combined makes the best dramas in Taiwan in terms of viewership.

may mga nagsasabi na si sam milby daw ang mas bagay sa role but then, ABS-CBn choses Gerald Anderson in the end..

In my opinion, ABS-CBN chose Gerald Anderson to Kim Chiu's partner because of their 'hit' loveteam, which means "ratings".

Her training is no joke. My Korean friends (who were foreign exchange students here for a year) said SM's idol training is no joke. I guess her stint in the Philippines is just a stepping stone afterall and she is really gunning for this break.

im currently watching hanakimi taiwan...
but im not yet finished..
but two of my friends who have watched both versions prefer the japanese
version...
