Photo by Sankei Sports: Back in 1981, the film "Sailor Fuku to Kikanjyu" starring Yakushimaru Hiroko was a hit including the theme song sung by Yakushimaru. A drama series was released in 1982 starring Harada Tomoyo. Twenty five years later, the sailor girl with a machine gun is back with a drama series to debut on TBS on October 13th. This time featuring Nagasawa Manami.

no, I haven't seen "ROUGH" yet. We'll probably have to wait til the DVD comes out.

About the movie having Masami and Satoshi, I think it's "—Ü‚»‚¤‚»‚¤" (namida sou sou).
Masami is in the "Namida Sou Sou Drama SP" before, but this is the new movie and the story has nothing to do with that Drama SP.
btw, it is schedule to open in Japan on Sep 30, 2006.

the official site of movie "—Ü‚»‚¤‚»‚¤"

hmm...maybe not a typical love story. They play brother and sister in the movie, but are not blood-related. Satoshi runs a restaurant in Okinawa. After the high school entrance exam, Masami goes to Okinawa to find her brother (Satoshi). During the days they live together, they begin to love each other. Unfortunately....her brother then died at the age of 25. Another sad story...:puppydog: :mecry:

more pix about the movie.
