I am from India and have been to Japan as well. I am a big Masami fan and am very interested in knowing about this new drama. I dont know how or when or where can I get to watch it.

I came to know about Masami while I was browsing about some Japanese movies. Saw her smile and was hooked :hehe:

I might be the only Masami fan here from India. In India Japanese or East Asian movies are not well recognized as we have our own so called Bollywood movies as well as Hollywood movies. But I think we are missing out some of the best movies from that part of the world.

I remember when I was a kid we had a Japanese drama called 'Oshin' which was televised on national television. I had found the series to be very entertaining and was curious about Japan ever since. Fortunately I had the oppurtunity to visit the country last year. Also been trying to learn (self) Japanese ever since :)

I will need to find out where the filming is going to happen. Like 'unknowndevices' and 'tabana' said it might be easier as she is not that well known in India. Does anyone know when the filming is going to start?

I got this info when I searched for Masami in wiki

"Currently, she is in India filming for her latest SP drama, Butterfly Stroke in Ganges River, due to be shown in Japan later this year."

I wonder where the filming is going on..
