I don't necessarily think that...I was just soliciting opinions...I didn't say I made a decision based on what I read.

Having said that....I've read countless reviews of some crap ass doramas that stars some young idol where the reviewer will be in ecstasy over the show even though it's clearly a piece of crap...i.e. Kurosagi...I saw the first 5 episodes...and Yamapi and Horikata Maki were quite horrible and unbelievable in their respective roles as a swindler and law student...

Its a shame, because in my opinion, First Kiss is a very sweet and funny show. It just takes forever for the subbed episodes to come out. Sigh.

anyone know if there will be a DVD box of First Kiss? i tried looking around Yesasia or, CDJapan but no signs.

Man, Mao is so awesome :victory: It's hard to imagine she has this much popularity after a few doramas under her belt. However, if it weren't for HYD, she wouldn't be where she is today.
Side note: I do miss those bangs she donned in HYD! :puppydog:

i personally think that she would have been better off not acting in hyd.
1. every new dramas not gonna be as good as hyd (according to fangirls)
2. she's tied to MatsuTrollFace Jun for the rest of her life...

Yes, but if it hadn't been her then it would've been some other girl, who would now be put an a pedestal. This new girl would also obviously be tied to Jun and be fangirled to death. Where would that leave Mao today? Just another known, but not so popular dorama actress? I hope not, but it seems like it.
