yea, im not sure who sells it. I could have sworn the first time i visited the page i saw a cover pic with Erika. I cant find it now  ... Maybe if you see the mags anywhere you can check?

I really want the dl pics on the site but im sure you cant pay if you arent a japanese resident or something like that. Plus, it's like over $100 US

well...Kinokuniya, and Sanseido bookstores do carry it every month...the magazine is about $9 each.
what state are you in? Kino/Asahiya/Sanseido bookstores are in Seattle, Sanjose, SF, Los Angeles, SD, NY, Chicago...and i am sure you can do a search online for locations of their bookstores, or order it online...i've seen it...maybe do a search for bomb magazine, up to boy magazine, cause i have seen Erika a lot in those mags...but not in every issue...
also, she is on randomly on cover of Manga's, as most japanese idols are, Young Jump, Young Animal, and a few others...mostly gravure idols on the cover.
I too, do not have access to the online pix you are referring too...but i'll will keep you informed on her magazines that i see...and will try to scan up when i am not so busy and not so lazy to scan the pix up...cause it is a process to scan, resize images, upload and post each picture one by one, plus the resolution as provided by my scanner is not that great.... :bonk:

hmmm, this magazine, Up To Boy, has my favorite Japanese idol on the cover :woot: , it's due out next week....or the following week, it is available at Kinokuniya and SanSeido bookstores. I will get my copy, as usual. After seeing who is on the cover, i am that much more eager to get my hands on it...and besides, i already ordered Ai-chan's pb, which costed me $60, but oh so worth it.
Up To Boy is expensive, and is 780 yen, or about $13 to $14.
i saw it on a website, and can order Up To Boy online....just do a search...
It may not be available at all Kino's....i have not seen Up To Boy at LA Kino, or SJ, or SF...But it is possible to order it via Seattle Kinokuniya...and i've been to that one before, years ago...
sadly no gravure section...I've also been to the Japan one...both Kino's...and they are HUGE! :applaud:

So i should order it online at Kino or do you mean go to them in person and ask them to order it?

you can ask them to order it...for you...but keep in mind, not all Kinokuniya's will order it, or carry it in their store...
The SJ Kino does not carry any gravure material...
but the OC one, carries it.
ordering it online-Kinokuniya might be a challenge...if you do order it online, try elsewhere, that is english speaking.
I saw it on a website...but forgot which one...
i think you might want to ask some of the others..maybe @Speedsheep might know perhaps.

Ordering from a real bookstore is better than a cyber one. You know where your money goes and you see the book you want. see if there's kinokuniya or other Japanese bookstores near your place.

if you want to order magazines online, maybe you'll want to try CDJAPAN, they sells some Japanese magazines and has many shipping & payment methods to choose.
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/

amazon.jp is another good site. Maybe a little expensive, but at least they're reliable. I don't recomand it if you just want to buy one magazines there cuz the shipping rates might be more than the magazine itself.
http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B000J3OP36

as for yesasia, they're good as well, but I don't know if they sells "Up to Boy"magazine.

I've actually ordered it almost 3 weeks ago. And in Yesasia it still says, "searching suppliers". They even have a sale for all their calendars right now but still they havent found my copy! I'm about to go ask Kino but they'll probabaly be sold out and they cost $10 more. :shakehead:

   Wow! I can't believe you got them! Did you just get some of them by surfing the web? I wonder how many images the whole collection has... As stupid as I was, I spent 2 hours getting rid of the sample sign on ONE of the images :beaten:

Out of your list, I know CDjapan and Amazon Japan are expensive. One product I bought on CD japan was $12 more than it's counterpart in Yesasia. Plus, they made the package registered shipping so I had to go pick it up at the post office (which was more expensive). I'll go over Kino on wednesday and check if they can order other magazines they dont carry.

i would go with YesAsia.com
they are good. I got a few calendars that arrived in the mail today...Yui Aragaki, and Jun Natsukawa. :applaud:
you still have time to order the Erika Calendar through Yesasia if you want...can you cancel the other one? it's up to you....
searching suppliers??? does that mean it went thru or not? :headscratch:

ohh Yui! I was thinking about that one but.... i dont think my mom would like so many calendars haha You should take pics of that! Is there a Yui Aragaki thread btw?

I meant that I did order the Erika Calendar, but then the status is on Processing: Searching from Suppliers, meaning that it's still looking in its storehouses for a copy of my item. It's been like that for over 2 weeks, so I'm getting the feeling that it ran out. It's strange how you've never run into that before? This is the 3rd time this has happened to me at Yesasia.

well...it says shipping within 21 days...so, from the time i order via online, until it arrives at the doorstep...it sometimes takes about 1 month to arrive. Sometimes less....maybe 3 weeks.
Newer release items, i got my Koharu Kusumi cd, the following week, and that was fast!
I have a lot of J-calendars....maybe 4, and i ordered 2 more others...
i should take some pix...but kinda lazy to take any photos...maybe someone like Speed will find some, and post her pix on the thread....the Gacky one is very nice. :applaud:
