May not be getting the ratings I expected, but I think this will be a cult classic for some fans. I now understand why they were billing this as a different kind of "Jun Ai" (Pure Love) story. It is a dark kind of love in which either will do ANYTHING, I mean ANYTHING for the other person. It isn't right all the time, and at times we are even shocked and horrified by their actions, but there really is a strong love between them, perhaps as strong as Saku and Aki (of Sekachuu) but in a completely different way.
I really don't care about ratings. This is one of the deepest dramas ever, period. :applaud:
Hey there, I'm new to this forum but I've been watching Byakuyakou from the beginning to the end... which is now. :puppydog:
Err... I'm not directly naming anything that happens towards the end but just so that you know: I do refer to the complete show. So if you have a problem with that, just close your eyes and don't read the following paragraph.
Anyways, I found it way more depressing and sad than Sekachu for instance. I really missed some happy moments that gave you sort of a proof that everything was worth fighting for.
As for the ratings, I kind of care since I'm of the opinion that when they did so well on making really good stuff they should be getting SOMETHING in reward. I kind of feel sorry for them for not getting the attention they probably hoped for. Another thing is, with the low ratings the producers probably think twice next time when they get the chance to produce a dark drama. Sad for me as I love such angsty stories. Well, appparently people want more of the wacky stuff as Gokusen (which is good too but just not as suspenseful... well not at all... er... yagotmypointdoncha...?) or Densha Otoko.
@yt: cool, I've been waiting for the softsubs for so long. Thx for telling us. But just WHY are you uploading so many pictures??
@Xoai: Cute picture. Where's it from though?
