changes to voting rules?

More like "those who participate in discussion outside of one or two threads" tend to be more serious/mature... ;)

:beaten: If every forum were deleted except the Artistes forum, most of the denizens here wouldn't even notice...

BTW I've never understood Ms. Yonekura's popularity. IMHO see
has a great package (face, body etc.) and not much else.

Uh, you understand more that you realize: you pointed out that she has a great package... Isn't that pretty much the key to most celebs popularity? :headscratch:

You think J-Lo is a rocket scientist? Brad Pitt? ;)

Getting back on track:

Like Triky said: we can banter 'til the cows come home, but ain't nothing changing....

Man, you're still holding a grudge against her for Pretty Girls, ne? ;)

Guess we agree to disagree. As long as it's civil and not personal, I'm cool with it. *extends hand out to shake*

i say we expand the list to the top 100...so that more male talent represented by Johnny's Jimusho can be included...because they are severely under represented. in fact by doing so perhasp ppl will actually vote for Johnny himself as head pediophile as welll as other young and upcoming victims of his ass grabbin' hands.... :dancing: :dancing: :hehe:

indeed...the problem has already reached epidemic proportions....makes the bird flu look like a mild case of the runs...

saw this on anidb.info's main page... :hehe:

This is addressed to a minute portion of AniDB`s users who nonetheless take up almost as much time as the rest combined. If you are not one of these poor individuals who got shortchanged at birth, do proceed to make responsible use of AniDB, as most of you do.

Those of you whom I wish to speak to are the people who might think one day that it would be a good idea to, say, post a few dozen content-free straight 10/1 reviews, create a hundred accounts to change the top ten anime / group ratings / whatever or similarly disruptive actions.

Understand this: such actions, including but not limited to any form of spamming or ballot stuffing, will not be tolerated, will not be overlooked (moderators are not blind and we have tools specifically to find and rectify such abuses), can not be hidden without significantly more ingenuity and inside knowledge than you are likely to possess, and will result in a swift ban and deletion of data, often including that unrelated to the incident.

No excuses will be brooked (we do not care even if it actually was a "hacker", your little brother/son/cat, your account is your responsibility) and attempts to circumvent the ban will only result in its extension. Should you find yourself in this unfortunate state, your best hope is to consider your actions and then make a single meek and penitent post on the forum expressing an understanding of the nature of your misdeeds, an undertaking not to repeat them and an unpresuming request for your account to be reactivated. Creating further accounts will result in further bans, nothing more.

would be a bit of work, but the Top 50 lists would be more credible.

lol

I guess we're not alone with this problem. :hehe:

i blame the fangirls... and for driving away Beem-san. :hehe:

Yeah... poor Beem-san. He probably still have nightmares about them.
