its all about Rina..... :nut:
I haven't watched AP yet....
so i can really say what is better.

:hehe: :hehe:

Rina didn't have as much screen time as Kou, but she did have her moments in the drama :hehe:

AP, do give it a shot. I like the cast a lot.
Hopefully you'll find it entertaining though bud.

Yup, because of that (+previously watched Good Luck), I've mixed feelings about this dorama.

Woah, the 2 first episodes were so great but after it dropped greatly in interest. Non-stop bowing, even without the training, not real chemistry between the characters...

But it was my first Nishikido/Ueto drama so I'm happy enough to have discovered them. =)

The ending was quite awful, they shouldn't end it in such a secure way... the flaw of AP is that they didn't take enough risks.

hahahahha non-stop bowing and it has to be at certain degrees too    I found it a bit funny actually. Then again, thats their culture and their work requires them to be polite to customers.

Not real chemistry between characters????

I think you're right bout the not enough risks part.
At this point in time it don't look like Aya will be working on a AP special since she just did Shimokita Sundays. I'm really hoping they will do a special in near future :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

i really dont see a point in having a AP Special.. she's accomplished everything that she set out to do...

i supposed they could expande her love situation, but i dont see a point in that, as that was taken care of in the last episode. She did a great job on her last OJT flight, and the subsequent 15 minutes of the dorama solidified her confidence, which the portion after the credits showed. Can't see anything else that needs to be done... aside from showing more Aya, in that case, it's irrelevant what plot they choose to expand.

hmmm.......I see I see.
Then...pretty much if a special does come out its just showing more Aya for all Aya fans out there. I found the love situation kinda odd.....like nothing really happened in the end   I'll have to rewatch it again.

it's because of the male character, or how his character was written. he isn't someone that would be boisterous and jump up and down dying to confess his love. Aya's character is too inexperienced w/ men to realize this, or she blissfully ignores the obvious because of Yayoi.

Yep! The chemistry. Sorry. But you have to admit that Shouta was badly underused. And this guy is so predictable.

You just have to talk about him not being a pilot and he'll leave the ramen shop without eating his Tan Tan Men. ^^;;

I was fascinated by Misaki-san at first, but the drama evolved in a predictable way. Terrible. She evolved from the "bad girl" to the "Yes! I understand the meaning of being a cabin attendant!".

I'm not saying it was badly done but Misaki became so boring after a few episodes (once again, Aya fans, I'm sorry to say this). The chemistry between the girls was so-so. I just felt they became friends a little too quick to my taste. But I'm just talking about the flaws. "Attention Please!" has many qualities making the show worth your while. I wouldn't recommend it in the first place but I'd never say it's a bad show. =)

^Typical main character these days, which I find to be annoying.

Exactly! When ...
Spoiler — click to revealthey get stuck in the elevator, you KNEW they'd become friends after that.
and i dont know how those things operate in other countries, but in the USA, when you get stuck, you press the FIRE button, and the alarm sounds... instead of sitting there for 8 hours. And do they not put phones in those death traps in japan?

I'm just saying...

You know, sometimes lazy writers depend on cliche plots.

I mean, I'll always be amazed when I saw that Shouta knew Misaki was doing basket-ball late at night. Of course, our pretty boy had free time in his hands so he came with a "yo" and they had a chat like normal people...

Meeting each other in the whole Tokyo several times in a drama, that's quite the worst thing for me. They have to get rid of this anyday. The sooner, the better.

Oh, and there's always a basketball laying around for you to use...
:hehe: :hehe:
i think there's a basketball rental machine nearby... right next to the ubiqitius drink vending machines.

Well, Japan is very healthy if they can rent balls in every free park of Tokyo... And the ball Misaki was playing with is pure new brand. =D

No no, there's only ONE park w/ basketball courts in Tokyo.. that's how Shouta found her so easily... :hehe:

though, i have to admit that the chances of them living near each other is pretty good since they all work at the airport.

Amazing! I'd never guessed so!

Sorry for badmouthing the writers, they truly are exceptional, living us such hidden clues about characters meetings... =)

yea Shouta already knew the court when she asked youko to follow him rather than watching the boys

to me, it's more about Shouta's psychic cliche ability to find her in the middle of the night more than the continuity of the plot.
