You have to join the community 'coz most of the clips download links are member-locked.

You've tried both Megaupload and Mediafire?!

Do you have cookies enabled for Megaupload?

If that doesn't work, have you thought about using a download manager software?

For Megaupload, i tried it a few more times, the last one didn't 'fail' and it just sits there with 'starting' but nothing is being transferred. should I just wait for it? I kinda of want to get that file instead of the multiple files as I'd like to watch it all at one go.

I suppose allowing cookies from Megaupload wouldn't hurt... Worth a try, I guess. :)

Crayon, you have to join the split files into a whole file with FFSJ or HJSplit before watching it. So basically they are just the same, except the extra joining work.
