I recently saw her in "Orange Days" as Ayumi, the sister of main character Shohei. She played a small role, but it was still fun to see. Also, it was my very first Ueno Juri-experience!

The former more than the latter.
Side note: I made the conversion for the Nodame movie to 704x396, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload the damn thing to D-Addicts since they changed their upload policy. :grumble:

"I first met Kitagawa-san when I was in Orange Days, back then my acting was crap..." :naughty:

Hey Aya_Man_1988, after you've watched NC and LF make sure you watch her work in Itsutsu no Kaban. You'll surely see why she is a cut above most other Jactresses and why we adore her. Cheers
Ueno Juri gPersonal Japanese Lessonh for Tohoshinki Jaejoong
It seems that there will be tweets full of envy for their closeness. The new drama started in April had many attention the drama that started on the 15th gSunao Ni Narenakuteh. Itfs about a story about 5 people meeting through twitter, a love story that sounds too good but already on set there is a grumorh about a man and women. The main character Ueno Juri (23) and Tohoshinki Jaejoong (24). gDuring the break time it seems that Ueno Juri is teaching Jaejoong Japanese one on one. She takes out stuff from her bag and teaches the pronunciation for those and writes the casts names in kanji and teaches him how to read it. Jaejoong takes notes and is really serious. Their closeness is to the point you can hear each others breath and it makes us who are watching nervous.h
As we wrote on page 52 Tohoshinki Jaejoong is having trouble with his entertainment company but his popularity is still up. He will continue the drama and continue to be in more Japanese television shows. Itfs no doubt that his personal lesson from Ueno Juri teach means a lot. But as she acted in gNodame Cantabileh a not very intelligent girl, will she be able to teach him proper Japanese? Is our worry. gAlready on the internet people are worried that she will be bashed by the Tohoshinki fans. Also there were comments saying eif there is a kiss scene we wonft forgive herf written. She has that personality so she hugs the male staffs without any hesitation. If she does that to Jaejoong the net will go crazych Be careful that the kindness wonft change into anything more.

i actually LOL'ed at this.
Juri certainly strikes me as the type of girl who would go around hugging friends randomly and being nice to people. if JJ looked like he was having trouble with the dialogue, Juri-chan would probably help. (with her down to earth attitude and hands on approach, yeah, it's definitely something she would do)
if JJ's fans can't deal, maybe they should find an idol who hates any kind of human connection, instead of JJ-san who actually seems like a nice enough guy. :grumble:

It is what I think also ^^^^^
But this news maybe the way to promote the drama ... I think the anti-fans maybe pay more attention with the drama ..if there is some rumor like this.
:shamefulcry: :shamefulcry:
I hope TVXQ's fan would do anything to Juri chan

Screw them. :finger_bleah:
I'd be more worried to the contrary: I don't want to see her hanging out with him. :P

She must've turned it around really quick, 'cause she was wonderful in Swing Girls. :victory:
Now I can see everyone's fascination with Ueno Juri after watching Nodame Cantabile. She is a really talented actress and comes across very "real" in her roles. I first saw her in "Last Friends" and she was the only that stood out plus I liked her relationship with Eita.
Bmwracer - I hope, one day, you can meet her! I wonder if it's so hard to see celebrities in Japan.... I guess, probably, no different than here in the U.S.
