She looks so different with the short hair; makes me wonder what kind of character in Last Friends. For now I'll enjoy the pics posted up while I wait for Lost Time Life to finish downloading. :hehe:

According to the plot summary, Juri-chan plays a successful motocross racer... :)

Hah, perhaps I should've done some research myself.

Looking forward to seeing that drama, and hopefully see the movie sometime later in the year. Well, Juri-chan seems to be quite a busy person, going from Nodame, to the movie, to Lost Time Life and Last Friends, and that trip to Africa as well, though I don't know if that trip was a recent one or just filmed a while back. While it's nice that she's getting so many roles, keeping the momentum she has built, I hope that she has had time for herself, be it for fun or rest. A burned-out Ueno Juri just doesn't sound good. :(

The trip to Afurika, in late January 2008, was probably on TBS' dime. :)

I think her trip to Africa was sort of a vacation for her... :)

She's a mere 21, so she's full o' energy... :D :victory:

But most of her hairstyles and outfits make her look middle-aged. I'm not saying that she should slut it out like how a lot of people her age do, but it would be nice if she didn't look like a soccer mom. :beaten: (*waits for the bashing*) :ashamed:

Maybe her outfits, particularly the sack dresses, but not her hair... :)

Hehe, you're biased though. :P But seriously, if I never knew her age, I would've thought she was older than me. With the exception of her young-looking face. I guess that's just her style and I gotta give her props for that because at least she seems to dress the way she wants and looks comfortable. :)
