Can you recommend a decent movie or drama of Juri-san that have English subs? I'm collecting all her works since I'm busy for now so I can just watch it when I have my free time.

I notice you don't have Orange Days on that list.. she was in that, even if for a relatively small role - but it's a great drama

I'm five episodes into Orange Days. So far so good. Too bad Juri-chan's character can't get any more screentime, or even a chance to play the piano :beaten:

I think you pretty much covered what's available with English subs... :sweat:

Christmas on July 24th Avenue has English subs, but Juri-chan only has a small role...

There aren't any (decent) English subs out for Shiawase no Switch, Deguchi no Nai Umi (Sea Without Exit), and Bokutachi no Senso...

Upcoming movies are Naoko, Kung-Fu Kun, and Guu-Guu Datte Neko de Aru....

Yeah. I've read somewhere that even though she's not the lead, she really stands out in that movie. :victory: I'm looking forward to watching it.

For Sea Without Exit, I downloaded it on Veoh. It said with English subs. Wonder if it's decent though. :sweat:

That's okay, he's just another jpop idol turn mediocre actor. Juri-chan's character figures prominently in episode 2 as well.

i wanted to watch josee, but someone took it off the site i was intending to watch it from.

seeing that shiawase no switch is chinese-subb i might consider doing a translation, with grammar and all...but it's school and it's an important year for me (we choose the subs we wanna specialize in) and i have totally no idea how to use anything to sub...

only naoko juri are cast for leading role,
i dont know for the movie kung fu kun,guu guu datte,komodo no komodo

i read on the japanese wiki page (which has a lot more info on juri as compared to the english page) that she played only cameos on kung-fu kun (why do i keep thinking kung fu panda?) and kodomo no kodomo.

in kung-fu kun, she was the assistant at the sushi shop and in kodomo no kodomo she plays another shopkeeper.

in kodomo no kodomo there no chance of her playing like the lead cause hse isn't particularly motherly or young (like eleven)

I got a feeling it's like the same crappy one I downloaded months ago with English subs that were gibberish... :bleh:
