my comments toward this whole awards thing:

omg today while i was reading the paper on the train. i almost laughed out loud when they described Nishikido's performance as "changing our view of him." Usually, the chinese phrase (which i translated from) is actually a compliment, but in our case, we have changed our view of "Johnny's Boy" to "Cardboard Cutout"

I noticed that of the supposed five "principal characters" in Last Friends, Asami was the only one who didn't win an award. I think that Asami deserves an award if the script can...uhhhhhh... best "under-utilised character" anyone

I read the article already. Small write-up, bet they simply copied the news from the HK/TW papers. Our press is quite useless in their entertainment columns. Sigh.

it's not exactly on the small side...but again, most of our media's attention is on the western news, so i sort of expected it.

It just looks like as if she has lost weight because of the dress. wow..she looks really gorgeous, and it seems like she has more make up on her than usual. ^^ but still kawaii. ^^

Yeah.. she's pretty thin to start with. I think the dress definitely has a slimming effect. And such a different look for her.. not the cute, innocent little Nodame, to be sure ;-)

I actually prefer the less glamorous looks on Juri, I think, but it's fun to see her all made up.
