Another example of the high-waisted dresses she seems to favor... :)

Not for Juri-chan. :beaten:

She's so adorably kooky....

oh she's such a cute and spunky girl!! to be honest, my first exposure to her was from engine and i seriously got the image of her being serious in real life also. but then nodame came along and i realized that she's more like nodame in real life. at first it was so strange though because i wasn't used to her kooky side yet.

oh btw did you guys know she was in the kindaichi sp with kame :bleh: i think back in 2005? it was either 2005 or 2006. really, a waste of her talent because anybody coulda been her character.

I felt that way about Juri-chan's character in Summer Time Machine Blues.... But it was good to see her anyways. ;)

I read Wyn-chan's accuarte analysis of Juri-chan's body type and the reasons for her style choices. I agree. I am just not a big fan of an abundance of empire style dresses.

Yup! I would wear SOME of her clothes but probably not the more frumpy stuff. But I think it's appropriate and works for Juri-chan because it mirrors her personality.

I'm not knocking her style for her. Yes it suits her impish personality. Since b-kun asked me to post my opinion here, in truth, I am not all that impressed with her style. She seems to wear similiar empire or peasant style tops or dresess in most of her pics. Once in awhile it would be nice to see her in more fittted, figure flattering styles. She is young and cute...show off that figure while ya' still got it Juri-chan. Plenty of time later in life for smocks. :hehe:

I do like the colorful detail work on the yoke of that white peasant top. Very nice! :woot:

I agree wholheartedly.

Even the stuff she wore in Nodame was much more figure friendly than her typical talkshow garb... ;)
