But what about the Region Code issue? Sweat

Good point. I suppose I can send them information on software, such as AnyDVD, that deals with the region issue.

But that won't help them if they try to play the DVD on a standalone player.

That's REALLY awesome! Good of you to send him the documentary, beem! :woot: It is a bit of a surprise NHK didn't bother, but luckily he found his way to the forums.

Also, I confirmed it.. I definitely saw the filming/photoshoot of Juri while I was in Southern California. :banghead: Saw the Santa Monica pier in some promotional stuff for Honda. Luckily I can't say I missed my chance, since most of it was all blocked off anyway!

Ah, Santa Monica... That's where the last Juri-chan sighting was in 2005(?) for Swing Girls... :victory:

Yeah, I remember the SG insanity. I wasn't into Japanese movies/TV/artists back then, so it completely flew past my head.

Just saw the Shiseido pic of Juri... very strange to see her all glammed up, but it's not bad at all. All I can think is - wow, they put a LOT of foundation on her! I know it looks good in studio settings, but I haaaate being caked in makeup. I guess I wouldn't hate it so much if I got a bunch of money from Shiseido, though. :bonk: At the very least, looks like they're much more forgiving about piling it all on than MAC is.

MAC?? :headscratch:

AKA, why most women believe they should cake themselves in makeup. ;)

The Kagayaku Onna disc is on it's way to Cornwall... :victory:

Didn't send it registered mail, since it's an extra $10... Not worth it, considering the DVD is a mere 40 cents.
