I don't know why, but I just thought it was so funny/cool... I guess seeing her in a very familiar American location made it special and close to home... :inlove:

Yeah, I need help. :bonk:

I thought it was pretty cool since I go to Costco as well, so I guess there's a very little connection when I see Juri-chan go to a Costco. If only she came to the Costco I usually go to. :puppydog:

I hear ya... We can always visit the Costco in Hawaii. :beaten:

Speaking of that, I have been in touch with Chris Jones, whose family Juri-chan lived with when she visited England in 2007... :victory:

It'd be cool if I could go to Hawaii someday, but it'd probably be strange to anyone coming with me when I tell them the first place I want to see is the Costco where Juri-chan shopped at :beaten:

How often have you been in touch with Mr. Jones? Any interesting info about Juri-chan that we didn't see on-screen? Makes me want to view the video of her time with the family. The video was great, not only seeing Juri-chan travel around, but spending time with Mr. Jones and his family. They certainly came off as a very hospitable and friendly family in the video. :victory:

If you can believe it, they didn't have a video of Juri-chan's stay with them, so I mailed them a hardsubbed copy of Kagayaku Onna...

I've considered sending them a copy of Swing Girls and/or Nodame, but haven't gotten around to it.

That's strange. I figure the company behind the video would mail the family a copy. Well, thanks to you they have something to watch. :victory:

I'm sure the family will enjoy watching Swing Girls, and they'll get a kick out of watching Juri-chan as Nodame.

caps with the KMplayer (korean sofware). it has a hotkey for auto capping, so just crtl+A while watching, and then go back and delete all the bad ones.

thumbnails were auto generated by photobucket, after uploading, "select all", "generate img/html code", clickable thumbnails, copy and paste.

thtl posted a link several pages ago... You obviously haven't been visiting this thread lately :(

It's a DVD rip, not HQ, BTW.

They really liked it... Chris Jones contacted us via the Juri-chan thread over at D-Addicts a while back. :)
