Strange right? Apparently you can get a "Best Newcomer" award in Japan, regardless of how long you've been acting in the industry. I think also Juri won herself 1 million yen with this award (yes, winner gets paid!). Haha. :victory:

The official winners' list doesn't state which role exactly did she win the award for...but Last Friends (LF) is mentioned in many news articles found online so I guess it is safe to assume that she won because of her performance in LF.

Aha, I agree with you on the drama. Lol. I didn't like it much either (the ending is utter rubbish) but I thought Juri acted wonderfully. She emoted so well with her eyes and gave her character a lot of "heart". :)
