Maybe that's the problem: the other actors are so lousy that it makes Juri-chan look too good as an actor. :beaten:
Nahhh.
 seriously.
I think Nagasawa Masami was good in Prodai, and to be quite honest, she's actually a lot better than Nishikido Ryo in acting, she really is. To think that even her pales so much in comparison to Juri-chan, it's not even funny anymore. Michiru was her chance to show versatility but unfortunately she doesn't understand the role at all.
Eita was good as always, excellent even. But unlike Juri-chan, nothing about his acting screams one-of-a-kind.
And Nishikido Ryo, what can I say, I'm sorry if there are his fans reading this, but this guy can't act, period. Sure, he won the best supporting actor or something? To me, that's laughable. His Sousuke was like Jason from Friday the 13th, not much acting required, stand there like a statue, stone face most of the time, looking cold and dark, hit Masami and Ruka and Takeru (all the while expressionless, how convenient), walk like a model, occasionally raising eyebrows, and cry once (seriously, everyone CAN cry convincingly, I'm no actress, but even I can do it easily). Might as well put a mask on his face (like Jason), and his role would still have the same scary impact but this time at least, we viewers wouldn't have the reason to call him Mr. Expressionless anymore  I laughed at the people who claimed how good he is playing a different role, while in fact ALL these time, he never step out of the box. He's Nishikido Ryo ALL the time. He's scary not because of his acting, but because the writer wrote his role to be that way. :shakehead:
