So I invited my hs friend over to my house. I introduced LF to her a while ago but she didn't seem to enjoy it but this time, I played Nodame and she fell in love with it! I think I successfully converted another person (2nd after my mom!)

And for those of you who understand Japanese, what is she saying about her dog? All I can 'read' was the dog is 2 years old. It's the clip where Boo Boo has some drippings hanging off its nose :P
She also has a cat, Franc (?). She mentioned that her dog's special characteristic is having its tongue hanging out all the time. The "dripping" is actually a piece of leaf that had somehow gotten stuck on its nose.

Despite Juri-chan's performance, Last Friends is hard to like for various reasons: subject matter, poor plot/story, etc.

LOL...thanks for clarifying that for me! The whole time I thought Juri-chan kept going on and on about BooBoo's dripping nose! eew!

I found the same lukewarm reception with 2 of my friends too, one said LF was 'alright' but thought the plot got tiresome (nobody seems to sympathize with Michiru), and the other didn't even get past episode 3.
But it was suppose to be one of the top rated dramas of the year 2008.
