i have some fave japs male stars. takuya is one of them. to me, he is not that "drop dead handsome" but he has that kind of charisma that attracted me to him.

watched almost all his dramas and love his singing especially with smap.

lately, i've got so much time in my hands, i gone over and over again watching smap's 2002 concert. really love when takuya starts to shake his butt and his dance moves....... oh boy! watched his "beautiful life" time and again since that's the only vcd i have. waiting to get smap's latest album..... don't know when..... soon i hope.

well, need i say more............ you people out there have your own views.

cheers! ;)

i got this news from groundbreaker website:
seems like takuya's foot hurts due to a pulled ligament

Takuya hurt it when he was at high school, and it has never completely healed. The problem tends to reacur when he is dashing around staircases backstage, or moving on uneven ground.
Apparently, it was already under a strain in Fukuoka, and then he really pulled it again when he stumbled backstage in Toyota. :google: :say_ouch:
and he is given prescribed painkillers during the performance.
:ill:
:mecry: :mecry:

hope he's doing well now...

hope he's recuperating and his foot heels. if not, we won't be able to see him doing all that fantastic grooves and moves.

take care Takuya.

Btw, Kai-ho-ku is supposed to be an essay book of Kimura Takuya?? or a photobook? I thought it's the latter and heard the pictures are good. Someone fill me in?

I wanted to grab a copy of it but I don't see it at Kino now anymore.
4 Aug 2003, 12:30 #314
it's actually a collection of essays he wrote for MYOJO mag over the years....
the column in the mag is also called Kai ho ku....

there are some photos of him as well.... also some shots TK taken by himself.... like pics of sunset,etc.....

the bulk of the book are the essays.... cos' 1 essay usu take up around 3-4 pages... and after each essay, theres a pic of him...
there are a total of 60+ essays by him....

if you want the book, you can always book it from Kinokuniya Book web!!
4 Aug 2003, 12:34 #315
Whoa, those essays?
I see..
I bought the collections for those essays Doumoto Tsuyoshi did illustrations for.. but haven't read them so don't think I will order Kai-ho-ku just as yet. Seen some of his essays in Myojo tho, chimm. :P

if you want to get the book thro Kino bookweb, i can get you the ISBN number...
but since my book is at home, i can only give it to you this evening....

it cost abt $45 but if you order the book via book web, they give you a 10% discount...
heard that you can try out HMV as well....
4 Aug 2003, 12:36 #317
No hurry but thanks anyway! :)
4 Aug 2003, 12:38 #318
yup!!! definitely agree that it's chim....
since i'm not proficient in Japanese at alll
if you look thro this topic, you will notice that for most of us who got the book are having trouble gettting translations for the articles....

wait around... maybe there'll be someone who wants to sell the book at a low price... saw it once here.... someone selling it for $25 or so.....

I saw this at the Yahoo! Auction and was a little puzzled cos i have never heard of this one before. Have anybody watch it? Can briefly tell what issit all abt?

I somehow thought that the title must've been wrongly spelled coz if i'm not wrong, Kimura-kun have another drama called "Looking For a Better Life" am i rite??

Gosh! This is confusing! :shakehead:
