From reading this thread all I hear is that he can dance, sing, looks good, etc. Well all dorama actors act well, sing, look good etc. His characters are all basically the same. It's not like he's axe murder in one and a dork in another.

If he didn't look the way that he did, it wouldn't matter how well he acts or sings, how high-spirited he is. He wouldn't be attractive, he'd never let him get away with the things that he does, and most importantly, he wouldn't be entertaining.
Chris Rock's standup material is entertaining but I don't see girls going nuts for him.
Basically, without his looks he'd be bad boyfriend in those doramas

i heard that Takuya endorse for a brand of cosmetics in the past.. any idea what brand it is? if there's a pic of the advertisement (in those leaflet form), it will be even better..
i need to do a project on 'gender and advertisment', and i thought Takuya will be a good reference.. :)
