I think my list is more on 'disappointing' than 'not worth watching':

Gokusen 2: bcoz the first was far better. lost the originality of the first.

Mukodono 2003: overacting to bits! although the lead was quite cute... expected more from him, but somehow the bad acting puts me off quite a bit. and his 'wife' in the story looks more like 40 than 30yr old!

Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni...: Something to do about absolutely nothing. I expected more from the wonderful pairing up of the leads but the story is sooooo flat!

Water Boys: I adore the movie! So quirky! But I couldn't force myself to even complete the 2nd episode of the drama... maybe the difference in the lead guys' charisma between the movie and the drama made a point...

With Love: Draggy and lead actress is ugly!

Watching "Anego" at the moment however it is not catching any interest of mine.
The wife, on the other hand seems to enjoy it.
Oh well.

If I don't like something, I turn it off or change the channel.

I guess those who say they don't like a show but keep watching it are kind of like, "This show sucks however I'll keep on watching it because I want to know the stupid ending to a stupid show".
Something like that? :beaten:

Exactly, Ahochaude!

There are so many great dramas out there.
If one doesnt catch my intereest it is on to the next! :woot:

I dont understand people at all who feel compelled to finish stuff they dont enjoy.

Life is too short!

Too easy a notion for some people, Aho. :hehe:

My question is what's stupider: the show or the one who complains, but keeps watching? :headscratch:

There's an Austrian saying that hits the spot.

"Some people are only happy if they can complain about something."

Imagine such people find nothing to complain about. Their whole meaning of life would go down the sewer.

obviously i'm not tryin' to dictate people's lives but it's interesting to note that you and a few others agree with me in the seeming futility of watching show after show that draws the ire and annoyance of the viewer...

there are some shows that i didn't really like in the end but i certainly don't have a shit list longer than a native hawaiian canoe ... and then still claim to be a fan of japanese dramas.

I guess it's like those rubberneckers and car accidents: they can't stop watching...

To quote Seinfeld (yet again): "He is a loathsome, offensive brute. Yet I can't look away..."

It's like a car wreck. People always slow down to take a look.

i haven't watched any American shows in the last 3 years. i've only been watching shows from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan. sometimes i think i better take out the old American videotapes because afraid that my English skills are going to disintegrate.

indeed...it's just that when you don't like a drama you are talkin' about spending anywhere from 10 to 12 hours watching, not 10 to 12 seconds....

speaking of Seinfeld... don't you just love how Mr. Pitt cuts his Snickers bar with a knife and fork? and how about when Elaine was eating Mr. Peterman's 1939 cake? television was good back in the 1990s.

That's true. I think I keep watching because I have hope that it'll improve somehow. Except it rarely does.

Yup, I see their list and go, "Wow, I liked all of those" but the list keeps growing to the point where I'm :headscratch: and wonder if there's any drama they liked, even a little.

Boy, it must be a week for complaints. :grumble:

Maybe its the position of the moon? :headscratch:

Seems like alot of threads I visited (not the Mega Gallery, of course :hehe: ) has someone trashing one Asian drama or another. If it isnt a particular jdrama then its Tiawanese or Korean drama in general. :shakehead:

For the record: if its good, I like it.

Although if you check my drama page you'll see I think alot of stuff is good! :woot:
