how often do you change your avatar/desktop pix?
i have some good ones that i want to put up as my desktop, but don't want to resize them to 800x600, it might affect the resolution quality if i resize them. :hehe:

there is no fixed rule but in general i see a change in like 2-3 weeks ... then u see a post in this thread... :hehe:

as for me .. i try to put up a pic on my desktop .. if "strech" does not work well then i just leave it like it is in "center" as this one of akiko !

U r using a resolution of 800x600 on your screen :shocked: WOW man .. i am sure ure screen can go higher than THAT !! .. i have a 1400x1050 going right now on my laptop ..... generally screens can do atleast 1024x768 ...

yeah, i have some with higher res. but if it goes to high, then i can upload to imageshack, i don't really like photobucket all that much, so many limits on bandwidth....kept going over the bandwidth, so i switched to imageshack.
also, totally agree with you on the desktop image, "stretching it", really affects the pix. my monitor screen is only a 17", but i want to eventually get a 19" LCD monitor, that would be ideal, flat screen one and high res. desktop pix. So, i usually have an 800x600 up, any bigger and it wouldn't fit. wow you sure got a nice big screen for your laptop to accomodate that big pix. :bonk:

no no ... my laptop screen is 15" ... but the graphics card enables screen res. to go high upto 1400x1050 ...

thats why i was wondering ... on your 17" monitor also i am sure u can increase ure resolution .... if u want though

i see. you screen is just 15" then. ahhh, got a good graphics card there, wow up to 1400x1500! :sweat:
yeah, i am sure that i may be able to increase the res, but not sure if i want to mess with it, also since i am not so great with computer stuff.
it is a miracle that i figured out how to d/l videos etc... upload and post pix on here, i am learning...
it is getting late, i am going to turn in for the night soon. :bonk:
