ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!

What's the joyful response, for such a glomp?

I just signed up to these forums so I could join in the festivities here. It's so quiet at d-addicts. AND there's so many "drool-worthy" screen caps in this thread too. Sankyu~

That S-Oke t-shirt looks good but I have a little problem with them putting "We Are The Champion" minus the "s" in champions. I'm just fussy I guess. I was spending ages on amazon.jp looking at Nodame stuff. The manga in Japanese is only Y410 and the English translated ones are about Y1100 if anyone is interested (I think Del Rey licensed it).

Welcome!

I know you from the D-Addicts Nodame thread... :)

Enjoy your time spent here... And please read the Posting Guidelines: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic.9885.htm

Thanks for the welcome! Yoroshiku! :woot:

I've read the posting guidelines and will try my best to be a good poster~ :dancing:

I'm so depressed right now because I didn't put in my order for the Nodame Cantabile box set yesterday and now the price just went up again :shamefulcry: (Now I have to wait for it to go down! Patience is a virtue...I think)

The limited edition Nodame Cantabile manga - Volume 18 comes with a Puri Gorota keychain! Kawaiiiiii!

Linky for anyone who wants to see~ See the images below the manga cover!

Hmm, I've got a feeling the price won't drop anytime soon, especially if it's in limited release.

Cool.

Though all those mangas are in Japanese...

Yeah....the English ones on Amazon.jp are only up to Volume 10 I think. I know people who have pre-ordered till Volume 12 (only release in Jan, 2008), so lots of English manga readers of NC!

Do you read the mangas bmwracer? Or are you strictly a fan of the dorama?

And...T_T I'm still hoping the box set will go down in price again. I just hesitated earlier because it's still a lot of money to part with, me being a struggling college student and all, it's like my food money for a month! Can't even afford ramen if I buy it XD

Right now just a big fan of the drama... I'm contemplating the manga, but I've seen some mixed reviews regarding the translation...

Sorta like the English subs for the drama: so-so, but better than nothing.

"Otosan.....!" :hehe:

I think that was part of the Nodame Special announcement, ne?

Or was it a different concert?

This item was part of the report on the Nodame Cantabile SP marked for release in Spring 2008. So the concert is probably intended as a promotion of the SP.

"Fun FOR the Noda Family" may be a more appropriate title...

I went to a wedding in Japan with a foreigner presiding as the minister. When he spoke the Japanese parts, he sounded exactly like Takenaka as Stresemann! It was too funny, and hard to keep a straight face.
