I got myself a DVD of Claudio Abbado conducting the Berliner Philharmonic. It really is different seeing a maestro in action, as opposed to Chiaki.

Yeah, the performances and editing are well done: all of the actors appear to be seasoned veterans of their musical instruments... :)

According to the official web site, they appear to be offering junkets to Paris in November to watching the filming/taping of the special... :)
