:sweat: Maybe I've just been lucky using WMP 10 in Vista (before you ask, I'm an IT Security guy, so I customized it so it works, oh you so many peoples of the public!). I preferred it with Vobsub over what I was using before (VLC Player) simply because the font itself can be customized to whatever I want and looks extremely good on a TV when I put it through my VGA adapter.

Don't have the time to look at it now but may as well ask: does that particular program allow you to do the same? Or better yet, does it improve on that particular tech? I've been consolidated of my programs for both FooBar 2000 and VLC Player ever since the switch, so if there's an alternative that looks better, may as well give it a shot.

Oh, and anyone know the ETA of the subs for part 2? Not going to complain if it's not done, but last I heard they just restarted their progress after being in at about 50%...

GOM Player supports SMI, SRT, RT, SUB(with IDX) files for subtitle. You can specify margin, location, size, resolution, font and others. You can also enable shadow, view ASF files with subtitle, karaoke subtitle mode. You can even synchronize subtitle and video if there's any mismatch.

I want to watch it, I have it out :). I may try to watch the first part of the special tonight though. Bleh...most of my time is spent apartment hunting. studios are hard to come by this year for some reason.
