Haven't heard about the movie coming to my shore though, despite the early rumors. :(

I think you'll have a better chance than I do here in the States.

Yeah, it has already been reported that the movie will be released in parts of Asia.

I'm still hoping for some kinda announcement for the U.S. :fingerscrossed:

Since it's being released in other countries, that means it already has english subs so that's a plus. But I guess it all depends on how it does. If it's a huge success in Asia, then you might get some "limited" screening here in the US. Though probably not here in Boston.

Good point... But don't you think it's English and not Chinese since it's Hong Kong and Singapore?

Singapore's official language is English, that's why I figured the subs are English. I think Chinese is also an official language, but English seems more like a "main" language.

I hope you're right... That would make English subs on the DVD release a much more likely possibility. :fingerscrossed:

Enjoy!

P.S. I don't think they'll sync up with the newly-released 1080p version over at D-Addicts without some tweaking.

Unless someone was in the theater with a videocamera, don't hold your breath.

They might not release the DVD until Movie II finishes its run in theaters in April/May/June...

Are they going to release 2 DVDs? I mena, one for the 1st movie and another for the 2nd? Or are they going to combine it?

I watched Nodame on the 20th when I was in Nara :woot: thank god I've read the manga so I wasn't totally lost in translation :hehe:

the movie is great, not much different from the manga. I silently screamed "Kyaaa" when I saw Chiaki senpai and Nodame chan :hehe: I even cried during Chiaki's concert with Roux Marlett. It was the same feeling I got as the one I felt when watching Chiaki's concert with RS. It was a very touching moment. Apparently I wasn't the only one coz the girl sitting next to me was crying too

there was a preview of the second movie at the end, gosh! I sooo cannot wait. It looks much more intriguing than the first one (well, it's gotta be :victory:)

ETA:
I bought the glass too, the straw is really unique and it also came out with the mongoose handphone strap :woot: I also bought the photo book (more like a magazine though). I restrained myself from buying all the mags that have Tamaki and Juri chan on the covers, just for the photo book. It paid off :victory:

I've no idea... But a box set would be cool... With LOTS of extras. :victory: :woot:

I did. I also took pictures in front of the 3D banner, with "Chiaki senpai" and "Nodame chan" :hehe:

it was quite an achievement for me as I did it all alone, finding the cinema, buying the ticket and drink with my poor japanese :p

I hope the movie will be shown in Asia too. There are many Nodame fans here in my country. We even watched the Paris SP together and went crazy together.

I wish I didn't have to leave Japan so soon. I wanted to watch the movie as often as I could
