Exactly.

Bringing in a "star" ( ) just for rating's sake, would devalue this drama.

Totally, and I don't understand why he's needed. There's plenty of eye candy for both sexes and enough excitement to attract any range of age groups. I mean, the only reason they'd bring him in would be to appeal to the younger females, ne? Totally unnecessary, in my opinion.

Just say "fangirls."

Don't forget the :bleh: .

Are you referring to Turtle-kun or the 'younger females'?

Just giving a heads up since no one seems to have mentionned it.

KUITAN 2 is officially schedule to start airing in April for the Spring Season. Not to be missed with the exact same cast of actors! ^^

Sorry I didn't explain. :tickle:

Well, I'm two thirds of the way through the special, and... *shakes head*
I'm very disappointed thus far, and I can't see that the last third is going to make up for it.

From the over an hour I've watched, it felt more like an advert for Hong Kong than anything else. The pace is too slow, and the story could easily have fitted in half the time.

None of the actors are being asked to do much in the special, imo, except for Suga Kenta (Kaneda Hajime).
A pity, as they are all much better than the special allows. :grumble:

YAY! :yippee: Something to look forward to!

@Keps: No worries, I'm sure season 2 will make up for the SP.

Yup.

Geezer and I feel pretty much the same about the special... It was more a reunion of the cast and not much else...

Quite right.

I've watched all the sp now, and it did improve in the final segment, but it was too little, too late.
And Kyoko was underused AGAIN. :grumble:
Mind you, pretty much everyone was underused in the sp - it was like they were sleep-walking through it.

@ Wynter - I sincerely hope series 2 makes up for the disastrous special. I think not having over an hour to fill (as per the sp) will certainly help.

LOL.

That's as succinct as you can get. :hehe:
