I'm kinda tired of seeing her in supporting roles. I wish they'd put her for main actress again. Maybe they don't think she's good enough?

Not many gravure's go onto the success of main roles on a time and time again basis, only a select few do. Most just remain supporting characters. Stinks because she is good enough to be a main again. I guess their a little looked down on or something.

Yes, she is my favorite idol. But I also like Aoi Miyazaki, Juri Ueno, Mika Nakashima, etc etc... :mrgreen: I like Mayuko more than any other because we have the same age, she is piscis and I am scorpio. :D What's more, she remembers me to a girl that I knew...

Your english is not bad, no worries. Do you visit the other threads for the other girls you like? To rephrase my question, Mayuko is your perfect type of woman?

I don't like Youtube vids because the quality is VERY bad! And you have to convert flv to avi which is annoying. Original is always better, right?

So is there a gravure-actress that is more popular/successful than mayuko? I'm not sure who's a gravure idol. But Mayuko did get a few leading roles like Gambatte (there are no seeds so i can't watch this show..) and Deep Love. But those are pretty old. At least she's constantly chosen to be a supporting actress. People are still interested in her!

The only other real gravure person I really know that gets work is Takabe Ai, so Mayuko is def. ahead of the pack. :)

Who's that? :hehe: I guess Mayuko is the highest of all gravure models then? if you're a gravure model + big actress that's some crazy success.

Ai? She's mainly in films right now, but she was in Gachi Baka!, Teru Teru Ashita and Shimokita Sundays. I read recently too that Mayuko and Ayana Sakaki are considered the big two on the most used/best supporters list someplace.

Of course Mayuko is good. but Erika Toda and Maki Horitaka is more popular nowadays, you can't have two main in one drama ne... so maybe that's the reason why they put her in supporting. But supporting isn't just anything, there're many cheaper to hire actress but why they choose Mayuko?? sometimes it's the supporting roles that make the drama good, not to mention guest appearance to boost the ratings..
Mayuko is a gravure idol at first, so maybe her comapny wants to put jobs (cm/promotion/gravure) that earn profits most as priority.
