Heh well I havent heard that song yet so I'll check it out but I dont think there are THAT many angry songs. They're music mostly deals with the taboo stuff and the sad stuff, rather than anger.

yeah...their music is surprisingly, SAD. Like, someone could cry over it sad.....but only if the melody is sad......which is rare....like Miseinen, the lyrics are sad, talking about life...but the melody, I swear, I thought it was a happier song......It clashes......Like Disorder, there was a lot of screaming while the lyrics were sad...but in STACKED RUBBISH (which I wish I can get next month), the melody is sadder and more emotional as well as the lyrics. Like if you compare $ocial Riot Machine$ with Calm Envy. The changes in Gazette are there....but WAY less than Miyavi's changes in music style.

I must be honest, I know nothing about Miyavi's music so I wouldnt know. But true on Miseinen, it does clash. When I first heard the song I thought it sounded really fun and upbeat(though honestly, a part of me knew something about it was sad) and then I heard the piano version and thought it was really sad so i looked up the lyrics and the lyrics really are sad that it was strange the song was so upbeat.

Though now, listening to Discharge, I see you're quite right on the cussing...okay so it was overkill on Ruki's part lol but I suppose they're entitled to a few angry songs once in a while.

yep...but its not like it's written by one person. Like if it was Aoi writing the song and Ruki writing the lyrics, Aoi might write it with a happy song in mind while Ruki thinks of it as a sad song.

Can you tell me all their tours please? I know Nameless Liberty Six Guns and Pulse Wriggling into Black, but what about the other tours to promote the other albums? And was NLSG for Disorder or NIL?

Man I missed alot since I wasnt here....I had a wedding to go to. It was nice, yet i wanted to get back to see if the jdramas i have been watching were up yet....and they are not :(

I would say Antipop, Tokyo Shinjuu, and Zakuro gata no yuutsu....Social Riot Machines had a catchy melody but the screaming was a little too much. Carry? will always be liked, but not a favorite.

I can't wait till I can go back to that store and get STACKED RUBBISH. I LOVE that store. YAY japanese store in US!!!!

I dont see how you get Miseinen to be a sad song O__o; it's a happy one... There are lots of negative things in it but the whole meaning and message in it is happy. I mean, it tells us about a lot of bad things that happened and how hard everything was, but int he end that time was fantastic and created great memories. (Miseinen means basically the same as teenage years... just.. it's up to 20 since it's until you become an adult in Japan.
And the two last lines are the cutest lines ever!

lol about the cursing. I curse alot too. I think the problem with ruki is that he has been traumatized since he was a kid. I dont know but Im guessing that that might be the reason he is not too into women. About the girl that sent his naked photos of herself maybe she was ugly. I wouldnt be surprised nor would I care if he were gay. I would still like him.

.....Ruki is very.............odd. I find it really funny...and I really don't get it. Ruki hates America but likes English. He writes most of his songs in English while the other band members are better at pronouncing them. And apparently, he's not very good at spelling

One thing I learned while reading the lyrics to songs like SGD and Filth in the Beauty is that sometimes he doesnt say an entire sentence at one time...he will take a break and then finish it.

I think in Carry? he is stating Carry as a question...almost if like saying "should I care" I dont know it is just my guesses because when you listen to the song he says carry like a question and the title is like a question in itself

The chorus of SxDxR which you posted reminds me of some lyrics by System of a Down (i dont know if you listen to them...i love them)

Umm, well Carry? is a quite old song. It's from Disorder. Nowadays his english IS better. He's definitely the one of them who's best at english and I dont find it strange that he can dislike america and like english. Since when do people speak english only in america? Last time I went to a historylesson, english came from Britain. ;D

And yeah about breaking sentences, they do that in japanese music. ALL the time. That's one of the reasons it's basically impossible to understand a japanese song just by listening to it. You HAVE to read the lyrics. With kanji preferably.

Of course not!!!! I wish that it would never happen to him...im just saying that it has been rumored that he was abused as a child. I wish it to be just a rumor and thats all....a parent is suppose to protect the child not hurt them.

As for the english thing I agree with you. I just wish he would also understand that we as Americans try to elect a person for office that would do the best job. however once that person gets into office it is very hard to change what he/she does. Depending on how drastic the action is that the politician takes sometimes it can be stopped.. but like now no matter how much everyone hates what Bush is doing the people are powerless to stop him

Why would anyone want them to have a bad past????? We want them to be HAPPY not SAD. But usually in bands, since it's hard to succeed, parents usually get really REALLY mad at their kids......Like Tora and Ruki with the bands..... TT^TT

yep. theres so many rumors on Ruki only....like him being raped, etc etc.....It's so odd.......like there's no rumors on Reita, Kai, Aoi, and Uruha..only Ruki.....well...there's the rumor on Uruha about him being teased for being feminine...but that is believable...somewhat.
