Is it true that she's a Christian? It says she is in the trivia portion of her page in drama-wiki.

maybe not. Other than DramaWiki, I don't see her official site, Wikipedia or other sites say anything about her religion .

I've read her blog from way back and she's never mentioned her religion at all.

Hello people.

All we know is that she went to a Christian missionary school. When I found that out I sent the following to my contact in Japan:
I myself wrote:What does the school she went to say about her religion? Is she a christian, or is it not uncommon for Japanese parents to send their children to a christian school just because it happens to be a good school?

His answer:
It's not uncommon. There are more Christian schools than Christians. (Proportionately, although it may not be far off in absolute numbers.) I know someone who went to a Catholic school despite her family being hereditary Shinto priests.

So she may only have a strong interest in Christianity without being Christian, just like some westerners like to visit Buddhist temples without being Buddhist.

It says she is in the trivia portion of her page in drama-wiki.
