SUGOI! I didn't know she had so many fans! Or some many movies under her belt...

I'm watching Sailormoon and Kei-chan's playing my favourite. I'll have to check out some of her other works.

From the Upcoming Dramas thread:

Keiko Kitagawa gets first starring drama role

Starting in October, TV Asahi will air a drama series titled "Mop Girl," with actress Keiko Kitagawa in her first starring TV role.

The story is adapted from a serialized novel by Miaki Kato, published in Kirara magazine. Kitagawa plays the part of the slow but hardworking Momoko, a low-ranking employee at a funeral services company who carries a mop as part of her job.

However, Momoko happens to possess a strange ability. Whenever she comes across the corpse of someone who has left strong feelings behind, she travels back in time to save that person from his or her fate.

Other cast members include Shosuke Tanihara, Sousuke Takaoka, and Reina Asami. The drama will air in TV Asahi's Friday 11:15pm time slot.

Sounds interesting enough.
However i get the impression this series will be close to the 10% in ratings and it might be slow or so in the first ep

None the Less. Kevin is interested in this drama and hopes to see Keiko chan acting abilities :woot: :woot:

It would be ok for a TV asahi drama if the ratings are close to 10%, especially when the air time is on Friday night.

just look at some TV Asahi dramas aired at 23:15pm on Fri in the past....Sushi Oji, Anna-san no Omame (7.18%), Kuroi Taiyou (11.15%), Teru Teru Ashita (8.9%), Chakushin Ari (8.49%), Haruka 17 (8.83%), Ame to Yume no Ato ni (9.84%)

these dramas aren't that bad, probably receive less attention than others.
