1 Pound no Fukuin Drama Discussion · 22 Jan 2008, 22:16 Yeah, I guess that could work. It would be funny if the Kameda brothers (world ranked boxers in real life in Japan) had a cameo as well.
1 Pound no Fukuin Drama Discussion · 21 Jan 2008, 10:41 Then again, I don't want the series jsut to be an advertisement for KAT-TUN. They already got their song as a theme. But anyway, I feel they can be selected based on their merits that they can perform their roles well. …
What dramas are you currently watching? Drama Discussion · 18 Jan 2008, 09:12 Currently I'm watching One Pound Gospel and the current season of Kinpachi-sensei
1 Pound no Fukuin Drama Discussion · 18 Jan 2008, 09:09 I say Kame looks like any other flyweight boxer I've met. I used to live in Japan and went to a boxing gym and trained with Yasutaka Kuroki, a national champion at the lowest weight class, minimum weight. And have been …
Majo no Jouken Drama Discussion · 23 May 2005, 07:26 I think she woke up, but still in terrible health. I think the condition that Hikaru wants to help Michi out of is to have the ability to go through a whole pregnancy safefully without affecting her condition or the chi…

Water Boys 2 Drama Discussion · 9 Aug 2004, 01:15 This gives it a fresh start and some originality. New school, new environment, and new characters. I think this is the reason why 5 waterboys in a row could theoretically work. But of course you have to have one of the …
Japanese Proficiency Test Learn Japanese · 29 May 2004, 05:17 I tried out the practice proficiency tests on kanji-test.com. I got an 83% on the level 3. I tried the level 2 test twice. First time I got a 48% just skimming, and got a 70% trying hard. I hate giongo and gitaigo.
Japanese Proficiency Test Learn Japanese · 28 May 2004, 09:38 Oh yeah. In the JET programme, does the participant live by themself? Or are they given a roomate? I'd prefer to live by myself so I can decorate my place with Gundam models and stuff :chatter:

I read the novel back in high school and loved it. I saw most of the series when I went to Japan (saw up to 6 I believe) but still loved it. I loved Santa Maria's portrayal as Haru and did a good job. I just didn't like how the teacher cried every episode.
