Nope. Not that much counter space.

And yes, I do get flour everywhere. Half the fun.

(Truth to tell, all you need is a board about a foot and a half wide, by two and a half feet long. If you remember to make Mt. Varacalli -- Mr. Varacalli taught me to make pasta when I was a little kid, and I never learned to call it anyting else - it shouldn't make a big mess.)

Deep fried? I boil my ravioli, I don't deep fry it. But I bet that would be good.

Then again... I'm one of those guys who's tried to deep fry a milyway bar. (Didn't work for me)

Elt', give the Yellow Submarine (ala the Beatles movie) a try when you're in SF sometime:

I'd not says it's any better than Togo's, but it's got a little SF charm. Smile

Subways in Hawaii are mostly owned by Koreans.
The Korean lady who made my sandwhich today did a helluva sloppy job. It wasn't even a sandwhich, it was all over the place. Looked like soup.

McDonalds here are known for doing that too. And that's when there isn't a line either! Is it really that hard to put bread and meat and maybe cheese on top of each other nicely? hehe

Hey now, you never went to a McDonald's that aho worked at. Smile

In high school, I worked at the Palolo and Kahala one.

But the Filipinos and Micronesians were hella sloppy. Pissed me off watching those fools make the burgers.
Now, I don't even eat at McDonald's anymore. Except for when I go to the ones in Japan! McTeri's! Mmmmm Big Grin

It all depends on location.
When eating fast food, I learned to not eat at the franchise chains. The corporate ones are the ones you want to go to. They do it right, because it's directly under the corporation. The franchise just buys the name and worries about the money in their own pocket, so they tend not to waste as much.

No matter where you go, you'll get good service or bad service.
It's the way they operate, which makes all the difference.

That's one thing that I got to learn while working at the old fast food joint.
It's in the reports, so of course, an outsider won't know.
But next time you go, you can always ask "Who is the owner of this restaraunt?" If they so "There is no owner" or whatever, then you'll know it's corporate. In franchises, even the underlings know who the owner is.

Good to know, Aho. But I can't do that when I'm stuck in the drive-thru... hehe
