channel U and mediacorp 8 always air the jdrama so late ..... like 10:30 or 11pm late at nite.

Really piss me off........... I always end up feeling tired the next morning.
Sometimes I just cant stand it....... I went to bed w/o watching.....

Why cant they air it earlier??
Or have a special channel all on jdrama?

Anyone got any ideas where to get this Jap Drama's VCD besides TS Laser. The one I bought from TS is very problematic. I can't run it on my laptop. It can't detect some of the disc. And some disc it just hang here and there. I played it on the VCD player.. its still hangs.. I changed the disc for 3 times at TS. Still having same problem.. they dun even bother to test it for me... saying alot of ppl came to change the disc due to same problem.. its our player's problem.. not the disc. So if alot of ppl can't play, I think its the disc problem isn't it :/ Sad ...


Anyway what's the important matter now is where else can I get the disc?

It's hard to get any jdramas vcd in Singapore =) Distributers stopped importing them due to copyright stuffs.


Anyway, next Monday Moto Kare final episode. Can't wait >.<

yea, now rarely find them... how come with the copyright issue? Anyway that VCD produced by taiwan sold at TS really problematic.. I'm thinking of getting the VCD elsewhere.. else gonna do import.. If u guys have any idea on how to get the VCD in Singapore.. or Import.. pls leave me a msg thx

Japan doesn't manufacture VCDs. So all vcds are really parallel imports.

But you can try getting them here. Reasonable price too.

hmmm the vcd they are sellign is the same as the one i got from TS Laser... its hanging badly on some of the disc.. and the laptop doesn't recognise the disc too

the same goes for ch 56 (ecity), they always show the program from 11pm onwards. But now Saturday morning 11am there is a jdrama called Otosan

why don u invest in a VCR or even DVD recorder ? THen u can have your beauty sleep

besides,channel 8 will showing a ot hot and brand new dorama,

you can try getting them from taiwan auction sites. got some of the latest titles there at about $17 incl postage. quality is very good too. but it'll be better if you buy in bulk with a few friends so that you can save on postage.

yea which part of AMK? Is it sold by TS Laser? I'm interested in the drama Motokare but the one produced by Sky Films International and sold at TS Laser is kinda problematic. I can't play it on my laptop. And most of the disc are corrupted. It keep hanging. For ur info, I changed the discs for 3 times.

Anyone encounter problems while watching the Motokare drama?

Was at Yishun Interchange yesterday... TS having promotion there... Place was packed... Jdramas are being sold at $1.20 per disc. Titles include, Waterboys, Bijo ka Yajuu, Diamond Girl, Egao no Hosoku, Boku no Mahou Tsukai, Yoiko no Mikata, Aisuru Tame ni Aisaretai and Hotman. HK dramas being sold at half price. TW drama at $1 per disc.

Bought Diamond Girl & Egao no Hosoku... Scanned thru the discs on my dvd player, quality is ok... It's 'pirated' vcd, so can't expect too much...

Haizz... how I wish Singapore sells jdorama DVDs...

Eng subs on TV are translated based on the dubbed Chinese dialogue. That's why they appear "horrible" if you are listening to the original japanese dialogue.
