Can anyone suggest some dramas dealing with lawyers, preferably something to do with their day-to-day life or court room trials. I don't mind them being comedies but hopefully they have at least a little seriousness in them. Basically I am looking for dramas along the lines of Hero (I've already seen this so please don't recommend it).
I would highly recommend Rikon Bengoshi http://jdorama.com/drama.816.htm Yuki Amami as a divorce lawyer starting out on her own. It's great. Unfortunately the made a sequel, I would avoid that. Like most sequels, a big disappointment.

Just watched Bengoshi no Kuzu and really enjoyed it, so I'd recommend it.

Hi! Can anyone suggest a good mystery/detective series? That perferably has some comedy?

Edit: I wanted to post some of the series that I saw and enjoyed so you can get the general idea of series I enjoy: Trick 1, 2 & 3; Galileo, Shibatora...and that's all (I know small list right? Sad )

I'm looking for some great/epic love stories. In the vein of Love Generation, Long Vacation, Itsumo Futari De, Aoi Tori, Beautiful Life, Tokyo Love Story etc.
I've seen more than a few... but I'm sure there are more that I'm probably missing. Any recommendations?

Keizoku is quite good, though the comedy in it are so unexpected that I often wasn't aware the scenes are meant to be comedic.

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a drama along the lines of "last friends" --- preferably 2006 and up.

You mean a drama with poorly developed characters that sold itself out for ratings and popularity awards? bleh

you wish hehe
Well, maybe beeing a big fan makes us Aya "fanboys." DonLt know whatLs so wrong about that. I guess you were just pissed that the Ueto thread was so active (till you make everyone leave)
Now you can play fanboy in the Ueno Juri thread. ILd say posting tons of caps, with one post for each cap (to make the thread grow faster?), makes you a lot fanboy too, doesnLt it?

I didn't make you guys leave... You guys couldn't handle ANY criticism towards your gal so you packed up and went to greener pastures.

Yeah, I'm a fanboy, but I'm not a blind fanboy. Bleah

I don't buy that... Some of you guys tried to start a flame war, I stopped it, you guys got upset and left... So be it.

LOL, you haven't made in post in nine months: all it took was a comment about "Aya fanboys" and you're posting again. Bleah

I don't think she's perfect but she's really awesome. And yea, she has messed up before =\ In fact, I haven't and don't think i'll ever find a perfect idol... sigh.. Shake Head But I love Aya for who she is, I don't think I need a perfect person

As for dramas, My Boss My Hero is a great recommendation for most people Smile

Well, we already told you that we didnLt really intend to start awar there. We just wanted to back up Aya.
But that has all been talked about. We should forget it and live all in peace. We just canLt watch others talking bad about Aya chan. ILm not saying that she is perfect and above everyone else, the best actress and singer on the planet or a godess. But she has something very unique and special we love her for. If you donLt like her itLs OK. But donLt always talk bad about her (or us) because you are not much different in beeing an Ueno fan, I think. You wonLt see us talking bad or complaining about Juri, too. In fact ILm not a fan of her but she is a great actress.
