If there is a separate subtitle file, it is a soft sub. Put the file in the same folder, make sure the name of the video is the same as the sub file (except for the extension, of course). Vobsub will take over when you open your player and plays the video with subs for you......

I'm trying to play the file (eg Itsumo Futari De from Jem's), but everytime I play it the audio and video doesn't match. The video compression is Divx codec. The video goes in slow motion, while the audio is in normal speed. What is the problem? And what else do I have to add? |
WMP 9 is a HUGE resource hog compared to its previous versions This *could* be contributing to your problem. If you like having WMP 9 for some reason other than playing videos (like for the mp3 ripping utility) I suggest grabbing another player to play your videos by default. My suggestions would be to try BS Player or WMP Classic. They don't take up as many resources on your system and the audio/video sync problem won't be so common.

What about realone player? Don't know y, but after I upgraded I can't play the files properly anymore. |
Since it's a Windows thing, I believe each new version installed overwrites the other now ever since WMP 7, and I'm not sure how to go about uninstalling. I would try reinstalling WMP 8 first and see if it overwrites 9. If that doesn't work, install Windows Media Player Classic....that can be installed at the same time as WMP 9 and work separately. Or, if you don't wanna mess with it, try BS Player.

like arnel said....
DO NOT USE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER...its not very useful
SAME GOES FOR REAL PLAYER... there is a bug in the newer version which messes up your files types... i read that somewhere
i (like arnel ) suggest ZOOMPLAYER it plays all kinds of files and its really "light" plus its free!
