Yeah. It's red and boogers are somewhat whitish brownish.

and can someone tell me if i'm saying these right?
otsukare sama deshita (can't remember when you say it)
gochizo sama deshita (you say it after a meal, I think!)

Otsukaresama deshita: The best example of when you say it is when you are leaving work for the day, and maybe when someone does a difficult work task for you.
Gochisosama deshita: Yep, after you eat a meal

Yes, the English way has a more subtle meaning to it because you're taking a directly literal translation into Japanese which makes it sound like "be my thing".
