Last year's Good Luck. This is another great one from Kimura Takuya and Takeuchi Yuko. They looked good together! I wish they had more romantic moments!! This has potential as the year's best.... Must see.

I think the person who gave this dorama a "1" is a bit harsh. This is an old fashion "soap"script that you don't see too often these days. After I finished watching this show, I kept thinking about the characters. The 3 leads had done a good job in creating the characters' personalities. Well, I also like the realistic ending. The truth came out. All three character is being truthful to each others and their own feelings...

This is a story about a love triangle between Masakazu Tamura, Rie Miyazawa and Takuya Kimura. In comparision, this dorama is at a slower pace but the the all star cast performance was good. Overall, an interesting story about a woman fell in love with two men...

A drama evolved around 4 women and their view on love. My favorite is the second story with Tokiwa Takako. This is a good show! But I want more from this well known cast.

Oda Yuji is back to his typical good guy role, a doctor this time, in a hospital setting. Ysauko Matsuyuki is just beautiful. This is one of those mysteries that will keep you until the end. Not well known but this is one of the top show in that season. Worth watching. Also. good performance from the cast...

This is a short drama series with Japanese and Korean Stars involved. I like the 4 episodes story line and the fast pace of the story. Therefore, there were no unecessary scenes! The direction was great, very close to Japanese dorama. Without surprise, Kyoko is in her typical sweet girl role. I like how they showed the differences between the two cultures, especially in kid's marriage and career. Note: I like the sound track too.

Prepare yourself because this is another "screwed up" drama. I mean screwed up as in dark where something bad looms overhead. This one is about three abused children met in a mental hospital. 18 years later they meet again and all of a sudden murders start happening. Hmm... Consisder this is a tough subject for a script writer, this is a great job. The top notch cast's performace is just first rate! Don't miss it!

This is an above average storyline but there are a couple of great acting performanaces, especially the wife of the ex-boyfriend. I enjoyed it. This drama shows you that love has many forms.

Wakui Emi performance was really good. The script was great and I was moved. This is what Japanese Drama is all about.

This reminded me of the earlier show Muko-Dono/Son in Law. This is my first Viian show and her performance was very good. Even though rating is not that high in Japan, this is a must see for the season. This is very funny!

Miki Mizuno, Naohito Fujiki are very popular these days! Even with these stars in the show, the story doesn't provide any real spark! The story evolved around three women in their late 20s bumped into their childhood crushc Just another average show.

This is an older drama series about an extra marital affair created twist and turns in 4 persons lives.(Plus 2 kids) With good casting job, the main stars are perfect. They are all well known leads and they show case their skills here. Even the kids were good. This maybe a touchy subject for some viewer! The ending is quite touching and it will keep your attention till the end. Good performances!

Dispite of the low rating, this is a good family oriented drama. Tomoya's first role as a Step-Papa! I guess he has passed that gangster role! It is sure different from his other rolescPredictable but I enjoyed this one.

This drama is written in a typical good old love story fashion where three main characters have developed friendship and love relationship. Matsu is in her element here and her character does alllow her to show her stuff. I can tell her acting skill is at a higher level now! A predictable sort but truely enjoyable!

This is the first science fiction type Dorama I have watched. Since I am so used to love stories, it just feels strange. This is about a group of people travelled in time and strange things happened. In my opionion, it's OK. Something different with lots of computer generated visiual effects....

This is a fun-to-watch comedy. This dorama has a high quality cast with a lot of popular and famous dorama actors and addresses. In general, this is one smooth comedy with a good blend of funny and touching moments. Iijma Naoko is just beautiful and her comedy skill is as good as ever. Her acting is so natural and when paired with a comedy expert like Yuusuke....the result is a high quality drama that leaves you with a warm feeling afterwards.

This is a show that had stirred up a lot of opinions all over the world. Most of all, they are quite extreme. Because I have been exposed to these opinions, I decided to watch it in a very careful way. Since the Sleeping Forest, the maturing writer's view of human emotion/nature gets a lot deeper now. All three main stars were great, especially Takuya and Fukatsu. In pure acting evaluation, this is a great show! This show gave room for Takuya to show his skill...

I believe this script is not suitable for all dorama viewers. Only some Fan could appreciate this one! I do....

I like Kaneshiro in a romantic comedy setting. It was a great change from God, please give me more time and Love 2000. This clearly showed his range. The storyline was smooth and attractive. As a bowler, I get excited watching all these strikes and spares. As for the famale lead, Hitomi Kuroki, at 40 she shines considered there are many younger beautiful actress in the show. A funny and relaxing show!

Yuko Takeuchi was good as usual! This dorama reminds me of another drama named Antique. Is fun to watch! Yuko's character is such a tom-boy (not girlish) and it is hard too throw in more romantic scenes! If you are looking for a love story, this will not be the one for you. But this is FUN show....

This drama has good performances from the cast. Yutaka was quite good but this might be a bit too depressing for many folks! Especially with war in the middle east, depressed world economy and now SARS! The rating shows. I think most fans prefer more cheerful/funny doramas.

The 2nd highest rating show this season only behind "Good Luck". Nanako and Masaharu were good leads. A "Typical" heart warming drama evloves around a TV news room. Since there were many news room related dramas out there, that makes this drama storyline a bit predictable! A Worth watching show but not the bestcand the ending is too wide opened for my taste! They should throw in more ramantic scenes or at least expand the relationship between the leads. You would say "That's it!"!!!!

I haven't seen one like this one for a while. Great pace, top notch casting and good script. I was moved by every episode. This is a MUST see for dorama fans...

The drama writer used the "Hero" style (multi-storyline) in a private hospital setting! If you cannot handle surgery scenes, don't watch this one. I'm a little bit disappointed because I'm a fan of Nagase Tomoya. His gangster look doesn't look right in a doctor's role! Some of the hottest young stars are in this one, but I'm not impressed...

This show is awesome! You'll like every epidsode. The script is one of the all time best. This is one of the most popular hit in Taiwan and Japan.

A very different drama but it kept my attention till the end. It won the best drama in 99. The ending is quite surprising!

Asaka Seto was amazing here. Her skill out shining all other performances. There are a lot of twist and turns. As usual, the final epidsode was the show that tied everything together. His reminded me of the other drama named "Ice World". Don't miss it!

This show is quite different from a typical Eguchi Yousuke show. If you are looking for a romance story, it's nothing here! It is similar to the style of the drama "Hero". One drama with multiple stories. Above average.

If you like the 1st series, you will like the second one. Starting July 2002, they will air the 3rd and final series. I can't wait to watch that one!

A story line that makes parent worry! Love story between a student and a teacher. Nanako Matsushima was quite good. This might spark fure student and teacher love dramas!

Good story line but it was a little slow at the beginning. Full of suspense and surprises. The ending is vague! Something is missing at the end of this dorama. Although this was written by the same writer as the "Ice World", I like the other one a lot better. This one is a little bit on the dark side. I like the title song.

An interesting story line with above average performances from the stars. This was vote the best show in 2001 by the viewers. But I think something is missing. It lacks touching moments. I cannot recall any great scene? A disappointment! In general, the setting, the direction and mood were good.

Convincing performances! I like how the drama showed the women's point of view on conflicts between career and family. Also, true love can be in many forms which include caring and forgiving. The ending will leave you hangingc.wondering what really happened...just hints! I watched it months ago, but it still think about the characters. This is what true great drama is about? I have waited so long to buy this one but I'm glad that I did! I truely enjoyed this drama. Tokiwa Takako is the spark of this show and she looks so pretty in this show. Acting performances were excellent all around. The only complain I have is that Tamura doesn't look right with Takako as a pair. A little too old. Come think of it, I would have a tough time finding a lead Japanese drama actor for this part. Who?

This is a nice drama with a few touching moments. The lead actors were great. The ending is wide open for a part 2 series.

A Classic! This is what Japanese drama is all about. Love story with twists and turns. Great performance from the main actors. Takako was amazing! And this show demonstrated why she is one of the best.

It's hard to build a story around a disease like Aids. But they did it. Kaneshiro Takeshi and Fukada Kyoko did a great job. A very touching ending. For the ladies, its Kleenex time!

One of the top rating show but I think this one is a bit overrated. Very good story lines. Kimura was very funny. Interesting relationship between Kimura and Matsu...is not clear, just hints! I wish they develop the relationship a little bit more.
