Yeah, remember you saying your's was the better version of the song too, why'd they do that? YT is just so inconsistent on what they allow and what they don't, I've got 2 strikes against me right now from them. U Suck

They deleted like 5 sentai videos I had on my account because of TOEI's copyright claims. Deleting episodes on youtube I can understand but music videos? Luckily I only have one strike on my youtube account, so I can still keep all my favorites. I'm thinking about switching to veoh, where from what I've seen, TOEI and most Japanese companies haven't touched it yet.

Everything about Dekaranger is cool :p It's like a perfect Sentai for me, their boss is cool, every member is cool, their robot is cool, their stories are cool, villains are cool, special rangers are cool, music is top class. It's super cool ^^
Yeah I don't quite like Gaoranger's theme song as well, my favourite are Dekaranger, Boukenger, Shinkenger, Timeranger, Kakuranger.

There's no sentai left to watch, I re-watched Boukenger and Dekaranger many times. I might re-watch Shinkenger cause I liked it alot. Another option is re-watching Power Rangers Mighty Morphin heh. After watching Super Sentai I have been starting to dislike almous every Power Rangers except for Mighty Morphin.

I agree, Dekaranger is the complete Sentai. I love just about everything about Dekaranger. The only thing I don't like about Dekaranger is the narrator repeats the same stuff over and over, every single episode.

As far as Power Rangers goes, I still like it. It had a pretty rough stretch when Bruce Kalish was the head writer, and Samurai isn't doing that good right now. However, there are still some other really good seasons other than MMPR. In Space and RPM both had great stories and a lot of drama.

Aah I understand what you mean in Deka. For example when they henshin or Jasmine use her ESP, the narrator keeps saying the same thing. At first it was cool but after like 5-6 episodes it's starting to get annyoing.

I know some Power Rangers besides MMPR are good, but I'm just not used to PR anymore after watching Sentais. I think Ninjastorm was fine, Dino Thunder was fine too, I also watched Zeo since it has some of the original cast. But besides them I haven't really watched anything else, but I watched the specials which are really good, for example "Forever Red" and "Once a Ranger".

^^ Sure there's gotta be a couple left you haven't seen, there's been so many, maybe it's time for some old Tokusatsu series. Muack How was this series, Battle Fever J?

If only there's sub for every Sentai, I'd watch them all for sure ^^ But I doubt anybody is ever going to sub these old sentais so I guess only choice left is to learn Japanese well to understand it and watch it unsubbed.

And usually these old sentais tend to be "sick" and violent or even wicked and scary. Totally not suitable for kids, I remember watching a part of Flashman or something near it, there was a scene where they destroyed an enemy and his face was covered with blood and he was dying in a horrifying way. Modern sentais are more made for kids.

About Battle Fever J well, I haven't watched it. But I specially like Battle Japan and Miss America, their character seems interesting. There's two Miss Americas since first one died, I have only seen some clips of it.

And about the part when I said that "there's no sentai left to watch", I mean the ones with sub which is everything from Timeranger to Gokaiger (newest) and Jetman. Apart from that I have only seen Kakuranger unsubbed, so there's actually alot of sentais I haven't watched ^^

Currently, Liveman is being subbed by Grownups in Spandex, the same group that's been subbing Gokaiger. They've finished 37 episodes so far. TV Nihon has subbed Dairanger up through episode 30 and Megaranger through episode 21, but their process is slow.

About the violence in Sentai, yeah some of the older ones can get gory and violent (and to an extent, some of the newer ones as well). However, despite the violence Japan still maintains a low crime rate and rarely has school shootings. Here in the states, parents are always too concerned about the violence on TV. I really don't buy into the arguement that violent video games and TV shows leads to violence in school or real life, or that we should censor everything on kids shows. Some things I can understand, but here in the U.S. I think the censorship goes too far.

I'm downloading Battle Fever J right now, got that and Jetman at The Pirate Bay, looks a bit difficult to search though I haven't had to yet but seems as though they may have those oldie ones which are hard to find, Fingers crossed they're torrents and I can't believe how fast they downloaded. Yeah Im aware about Dairanger and Megaranger being subbed by TV-Nihon, however the process have been too slow that I have already given up on them. TV-Nihon used to be the only decent subbing group I knew, however after discovering G.U.I.S and other subbing groups I have slowly started to give up on TV-Nihon.

I watched 10 first episodes of Dairanger subbed by TV-Nihon and I have always wanted to watch Megaranger too. But TV-Nihon are always threatening: "The more you ask us when it's ready, the slower we are going to make it", so slowly people started to stop discussing about Dairanger and Megaranger and it kinda died, seeing there's no process by TV-Nihon anyway. About Liveman by G.U.I.S., I didn't notice it, but I was excited about Liveman in one point and watched it raw for about 15 episodes.

Well I wouldn't compare anything to U.S TV lol. It's just I have always have the image that Sentai is a kid's show just like PR is for kids. Of course I know that there's even more adults and teens watching the show than kids. For example modern sentais have them dancing at ending and have them involved in many events designed for the kids.

hitomi, seems like you can understand them even unsubbed, I am jealous ^^
It's true that you can understand the point of the sentai even if you don't understand all the words like me. But I want to be able to understand every joke they make and every little details they have. I'm looking forward for Liveman next ^^ 36/49, so 13 episodes more!

^^ No, really can't understand all that well, I've slacked off on my studies. Beat You Have seen so many dramas and movies subbed, after a while you catch the drift of things and can understand enough to watch them unsubbed, you can do it for action shows but not ones where there's a ton of dialouge. Nut
Up to episode 26 of Kamen Rider 555, will take a 2 or 3 day break so I don't get tired of it. Sweat Some others have told me that was the best one I could have chose, that seems like many people's fave, be a good starting point if you were interested in watching one. Mr Green

I just finished Magiranger, a show that I was stuck on episode 41 for like 3 months lol. Good story, descent music, good villains, but the main characters feel just average to me. Overall it's an ok show, but could use a better cast IMO.

I really need to finish Go-Onger, got up to episode 20 or so and just stopped for no reason. It wasn't that bad, just really goofy for my liking. Plus, can't go wrong with a former AV star as one of the villains hehe

Glad you're liking 555, Hitomi. I first got into Kamen Rider in late '08 when I started to watch Kiva, but after reading up on 555, I started on that and waited for Kiva to conclude in the new year. Was able to finish 555 in a few weeks, I enjoyed it that much. Probably because it gave me John Carpenter vibes and I was hoping Carpenter's trademark synthesizer skills would be heard throughout the show. Mr Green

That's right in the middle of the good part of Go-Onger. Once the Go-On Wings show up it gets much better.

Really is a good series, it's quite close to being a Sentai series with all the monsters, gadgets, etc. Up to episode 39, then the movie Paradise Lost, much longer than the Deka movie which was what, 35 minutes(?), this one is close to 100 minutes.

Yeah Magiranger was pretty good show, it's just as you say. I find Magired abit annyoing, Magigreen was fine but sometimes he's abit overacting, Magiblue have some annyoing vibes, Magipink and Magiyellow were my favourite in Magiranger anyway. The villains were really interesting especially Meemy and those 10 Gods in the end, Mai and Nare and Wolzard.

About Go-Onger I found all cast annyoing, I didn't quite like it although I somehow finished whole show in one go. My favourite were Go-On Wings who were my motive to watch the show anyway.

I'm downloading Gokaiger ep 5 raw as I write this, I know it's good already :p
Seems like there's no sub for this episode yet.

^Magiranger has some of the worst acting among recent Sentai's. That said, the acting in Magiranger is still a lot better than you'll find on most Power Ranger series. Wild Force, Operation Overdrive, and the current PR series, Samurai all have a lot worst acting than Magiranger. Personally, I don't mind the acting as long as it isn't as bad as the PR series I mentioned.

Speaking of Gokaiger episode 5, I saw it already.

Finished up Kamen Rider 555, so much better than you would have expected. Victory! Peace! Started off a bit fluffy with some lame humor but ended up being so serious and dark with quite a few of the main cast being killed off. bleh
Now on to the movie- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P2c-JuWCMQ
