Because they want us to pay to attention to their awesome subbing job, the very reason why we download the dramas in the first place. Beaten

I can understand trying to make subs look nice and all, but keeping it simple goes a long way. Victory! Peace!

i know it's not supposed to be funny but i just had to laugh at the fagulous photoshopped picture of Sou-chan in the sunflower fields rofl

Monta...hope you're enjoying this show...I loved it!

It's one of those dramas that when you've finished, you really miss not having more...

Well I've spent the last day and half nearly ABSORBING Ganbatte Ikimasshoi and Attention Please... The latter of which I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE.

My next goal is Densha Otoku, but with my luck, the batch I downloaded is all in RAWS.... >Sad

Does anyone know a group (if there is one?) that fansubbed it?

too bad none of the characters is a drama queen. no fun Beaten

Daisukii!! episode 8

when it comes to love, a lot of times i noticed that japanese male characters are often portrayed as the good-looking, hardworking, but slow, like really slooow. it's one of those scenes where in an american tv show they would've instantly gone off to bed and make out or whtvr but instead they do this staring thing and goes on with the "omae no koto suki desu" ritual.

what an ass!!!

lol. they should have played melody's song on that part. major melodrama!

finished Daisukii!!

Applaud Applaud Applaud

8.5/10

excellent!! love it! nearly perfect. i definitely want more. though i quiet dislike how it started. and they could've gotten more use out of melody's song.

but... big round of applause for Karina!!! girl, you can act! her performance made Sawajiri Erika's in 1LoT look like a lame drama-queen dying bitch!

Just finished Sexy Voice and Robo

Probably 7.5. I really enjoyed the first few and last 2 episodes, and episode 7. Apart from those, the others were a bit ordinary, parts of which I felt I endured rather than enjoyed. I really liked the original plot and topics, how it was able to mix light-hearted and serious content seamlessly. Both the leads were very good too. But one of its problems I think is that it got a bit too complicated/confused sometimes in trying to deliver its messages, and there was a lack of focus for a long time in the middle of the series (both in terms of character and ...) I would have liked to see more of Niko, even though the story of Robo's growth was quite well told. The messages sometimes were a bit confusing, not sure if it's due to the quality of translation. I like most of the messages that I understood, though I have to say most of them were not that memorable, except for the first episode.

actually, 1 litre of tears is a much much better choice than Gokusen

so i guess you wont have a problem deciding

^ You guys are making me want to get the Churasan series. Mostly because I never got to finish it after watching more than half of it many years ago. Sweat

On topic: Got a chance to watch a couple episodes of Kita no Kuni kara today.

I think I'll probably get this series from several people, but only if I can't find other dramas/movies to get. Mr Green

I've been watching Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boy Friend)

http://jdorama.com/drama.1283.htm

mostly because Aibu Saki is in it.

Since I have a crush on her, I figure any show Aibu is in starts off with 2 automatic points out of 10 in the scoring system. (I've been watching the Olympics.)

I'm 8 episodes in and this show gets a solid 2 from me.

But it hasn't been a complete waste of time. While it's been running, I've had time to do my bills, and vacumn my carpets, and catch up on the sports pages.

I can't disagree with you on the rating. I absolutely HATED the manga (I thought it was by far one of Yuu Watase's worst works...if not THE worst bleh). I only watched it to see what kind of changes they might make to it (I like to compare drama's to their original mangas)...

Suffice to say, I wasn't horribly disappointed, simply for the fact that I never had high hopes for it in the first place.

On a much better note, has anyone watched "Himitsu no Hanazono"? It looks interesting but I'm tentative to download the batch on d-addicts because I don't know if it has subtitles. =T
Any guesses? Confused
